Ralf B.October 20264.0Ralf B.October 2026AdvantagesLarge parcelsNegativesMaybe the traffic noise, but it's all tolerable and fineA lovely campground for exploring LuxembourgThe staff is very friendly; the restrooms are okay and clean.
Bread delivery service; on-site restaurant with good value for the price and friendly staff.
The sites are pleasantly spacious and easy to access.
Trams to downtown Luxembourg run regularly and are within walking distance.
Overall, we recommend this campground.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first! - 5.0JW

Adrian W.July 20255.0Adrian W.July 2025AdvantagesClean, friendly, nice location.NegativesAircraft noise. But there are only a few planes. Therefore very bearable.Top!The best city campsite we have visited so far. Sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but were always very clean and well maintained. Very friendly reception. Nice playground. Would have liked to stay longer.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful. - 1.0PCPierrick C.August 20241.0PCPierrick C.August 2024AdvantagesClean, well-equipped campsite in the immediate vicinity of Luxembourg City.NegativesOutside nuisances - The campsite is located under the airport take-off and landing corridor - as a result, 15 take-offs on August 7 between 6 and 7 a.m., infernal!!!! - Hedge trimming at the height of the summer season - an aberration! Infernal noise in the morning from 9am - Result, we had booked 4 nights, and we left the campsite after 3 nights!!!! As a result, we missed out on a visit to Luxembourg City - Fortunately, we then had a quieter stay in Diekirch.Camping both quiet and very noisy!!!!Clean, well-equipped campsite in the immediate vicinity of Luxembourg City.

Sven "Knausrich" B.April 20245.0Sven "Knausrich" B.April 2024AdvantagesClean, large pitches, nice restaurant ...Negativeshmmm?Luxembourg the secondThis is the second campsite we have visited near Luxembourg and it has also completely convinced us. Starting with the availability of supply and disposal, the clean sanitary facilities and the catering. The pitches are on grass, some of the vehicles are on gravel but you still have grass in front of... the camper van. And the bus stop, from which the free public transport leaves for Luxembourg every 10 minutes (on weekdays), is just a few minutes' walk away. Not far from the course is a golf course where beginners can take their first steps. There are cycle paths from the course as well as the possibility to leave and re-enter the course by vehicle using an access card. And remember, camper van drivers greet each other.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful. - 4.0
Michael N.April 20244.0Michael N.April 2024AdvantagesVery friendly and multilingual reception . Large pitches . Very clean and good sanitary facilities with toilet paper and disinfectant spray. Camping store and restaurant . Wide and paved access roads .NegativesWith the constant rain of the last few months, the pitches are soft . But that's not the owners' fault .Very nice place in the countrysideVery good place to explore Luxembourg.
Very good place to pass through.
We will recommend it to others.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Gerhard B.October 20234.0Gerhard B.October 2023AdvantagesOwn bus stopNegativesGrass too highCity closeOn the way back from our fall vacation, we spent a night at the Kockelscheuer campsite in Luxembourg.
The campsite is a great place to visit the city of Luxembourg.
The campsite has its own bus stop from which you can reach the city center in just a few minutes.
Public transport is free in Luxembourg!...
We liked it, although the grass was too long for my taste, but the sanitary facilities were clean.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back to this site for a visit to Luxembourg.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful. - 3.0RCRolf C.October 20233.0RCRolf C.October 2023AdvantagesClose to highway and cityNegativesMuddy pitches in the rain, loud aircraft noiseVery noisy transit areaThe site is not far from the highway and is well suited as a transit site. The pitches are arranged in terraces, most of them "downstairs" behind the reception building with store, bistro and sanitary building. The pitches are mostly spacious and easy to access. Unfortunately, the usual blue CEE plugs... do not fit there; there are special green power connections and you can borrow adapters. The pitches are muddy when it rains and you can easily get stuck. The sanitary facilities are older but clean. Free public transport bus runs into town in 15 minutes. 2 spacious motorhome disposal stations. Unfortunately, very loud aircraft noise until late in the evening, the first plane thunders over the site at 06:00 sharp in the morning, then you are awake. Bread roll service with baked rolls available at exorbitant prices (pre-ordering necessary the day before). WiFi only partially suitable.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!

Christel M.September 20235.0Christel M.September 2023AdvantagesFree local transport into the city. Well-kept squareNegativesnoneGreat city campsiteThe campsite is close to Luxembourg City. There is a bus every 20 minutes directly on the main road, which is free for everyone. As is all local transport.
There is a sports center and a golf course right next to the campsite. There is a playground on the campsite. And the restaurant is quite good, and there is also a small grocery store on site.
The sanitary facilities are clean and tidyAutomatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful. - 4.0DCDagmar C.June 20234.0DCDagmar C.June 2023AdvantagesClose to Luxembourg City, spacious pitches, clean sanitary facilitiesNegativesNoise from roads and nearby airfieldVery nice campsiteVery friendly welcome,
Spacious pitches with 100 square meters, well-stocked camping store with bread roll service
Thanks to the free public transport, the connection to the city was excellent every 15 minutes and 15 minutes travel time. Best starting point to explore the city of Luxembourg.
Because of the traffic noise in the morning hours and the aircraft noise throughout the day, the stay is a bit clouded.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. - 5.0FWFabian W.May 20235.0FWFabian W.May 2023Advantages+ Close to the cityNegatives- We were woken up at 0700 by a tow truck, but we were also on the first pitch next to the access road.Quiet place close to the cityWe've been to this site close to the city before, back then for sightseeing in Luxembourg. It's perfect for this as you can get to the city quickly by bike or (free) bus. At the weekend it could be a bit noisier due to the nearby leisure facilities.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful.
- 1.0FJflorian j.September 20221.0FJflorian j.September 2022AdvantagesThe road away from the squareNegativesSanitary building: WCs gentlemen unclean, smelly, very old Facilities partly unkempt, lots of exposed aggregate, remnants from four decades lying around everywhere at the restaurant, a torn sweater at the table tennis tableold, unfashionable, unkemptVery simple, old and unkempt place, around the reception/restaurant building untidy, outdated, unclean.
As already described above: WCs in the separate sanitary building dirty, smelly, ancient.
Both highway and low-flying airplanes clearly audible despite closed windows.
I've been a camper for years... and don't expect luxury or modernity, but I've rarely experienced anything like this.
Shortened my stay to one night and literally fled in the morning. Never again.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful. - 4.0

- 4.0TFTobias F.August 20214.0TFTobias F.August 2021AdvantagesProximity to the highway Proximity to the city center Public transportationNegativesNothingGladly againBeautiful, green little campsite that is often used by transit campers. The highway is max. 10 min away. The staff are very friendly and there is a relaxed atmosphere. There is a bus stop 500m away for easy access to the city center. The sanitary area was clean. A small shop/kiosk offers a good selection... of food. There is a small restaurant directly on the site, which was always busy in the evenings.
The site is located in the approach/departure lane of the airport. That didn't bother us any further.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful.
