"Manageable campsite that always looks well-kept. - Manageable, small campsite that looks more and more well-kept from year to year. The proximity to Bremen is easily accessible by bike. The lake is perfect for hiking and SUP training.

"Camping vacation - Unfortunately we find it a pity that if you come back after 22:00 and want to go to the campsite there is no possibility to park your car in front of the campsite. You are referred to a paid parking lot at the campsite (very dark).

"Short trip to Oyten - We arrived as a couple with a dog and bicycles. We walked around the lake with the dog in the morning and then got on our bikes. Bremen is easy to reach and Fischerhude is nice to look at. The Puppencafe is worth a visit. We liked the campsite, but it was noisy day and night due to the highway not far from the campsite and the Bremen airport flight path. Not very loud, but always a certain noise level. Everyone has to decide for themselves how sensitive they are to noise.

Oyten is an ideal starting point for the nationally-renowned Wümme cycle route and trips to the wonderful north German countryside, or to visit the Bremen city musicians in the nearby Hanseatic city. You can relax at the KNAUS Oyten campsite …and the countryside around Oyten, some of which is a nature preserve. Located on a kilometer long idyllic bathing lake, the Oyten campsite is the perfect place to relax on the southern boundary of Bremen. The grounds are like a landscaped park in which the pitches and rental homes, which are located near the bathing lake, are excellently integrated. Whether you want to enjoy your free time by the lake playing games or prefer to lay on one of the spacious sunbathing lawns with a book - the wonderful atmosphere of the Oyter lake offers a relaxing holiday ambience from day one. Your pets are also welcome on the allocated pitches!
