Profile
The KNAUS Eschwege campsite is located in idyllic surroundings on a peninsular between Werra and the Werratalsee lake. An extensive range of sports and leisure activities provide a lot of excitement in the cultivated park and the surroundings: a beach … volleyball pitch, table tennis, a basketball court, a sports field, riding hall, mini-golf course, boule alley and canoe rental - you definitely won't get bored here! The Werratalsee lake is a nice background for walks, inline skating or cycling trips on the excellent bike paths (e. g. the Werratal cycle path), but also invites guests to sunbathe, go surfing, sailing, swimming and fishing. You can reach the romantic old town of Eschwege in just ten minutes by taking the pedestrian bridge which crosses the Werra.
