"Eschwege - We wanted to stay for a week, it turned out to be 13 days.he staff are all friendly and the new place boss is doing his best.there was a small drawback.....Whether washing up or showering, the water was not really hot.

"Always beautiful - Great campsite, perfectly located between Werratalsperre (beach directly in front of the entrance), Werra (riverside path 200 meters) and old town Eschwege (about 1.5 km). Large pitches, clean sanitary facilities and friendly reception. Many excursion possibilities in the immediate vicinity.

The KNAUS Eschwege campsite is located in idyllic surroundings on a peninsular between Werra and the Werratalsee lake. An extensive range of sports and leisure activities provide a lot of excitement in the cultivated park and the surroundings: a beach …volleyball pitch, table tennis, a basketball court, a sports field, riding hall, mini-golf course, boule alley and canoe rental - you definitely won't get bored here! The Werratalsee lake is a nice background for walks, inline skating or cycling trips on the excellent bike paths (e. g. the Werratal cycle path), but also invites guests to sunbathe, go surfing, sailing, swimming and fishing. You can reach the romantic old town of Eschwege in just ten minutes by taking the pedestrian bridge which crosses the Werra.
