"Nie wieder - Leider keine Gastronomie...und der Pool kaputt und nicht benutzbar... Tischtennisplatte mitten in der Sonne und schief... Toilettenwagen zu klein und eng.

"Verbesserungswürdig - Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und bemüht. Die Lage an der Mosel ist schön. Sanitäterbereich in die Jahre gekommen und für ältere Leute immer mit dem besteigen der Stahltreppe verbunden ,oder der Weg in den Container. Vielleicht sollte Knaus um seinen Namen gerecht zu werden auch mal investieren in den Platz.

"Urlaub im Fass - Das Frühstück könnte etwas einfallsreicher und vielseitiger sein. Durch die Nähe zur Eisenbahnlinie und zur Hauptstraße, ist es Nachts etwas lauter.

"Guter Platz - Sehr freundliches hilfsbereites Personal. Leider ist alles etwas unordentlich, was aber damit zu tun hat, dass es hier ein Hochwassergebiet ist und der Platz 1-2 mal im Jahr schnell abgeräumt werden muß um das Inventar vor Wasser zu schützen. Wir werden aber ganz sicher hier wieder übernachten.

"Tolle Location - Die Übernachtung im Weinfass war echt toll. Wir waren direkt am Moselufer, sehr schöne Lage. Wir haben die Aussicht genossen und hätten gerne noch eine Nacht verlängert.

Profile

The KNAUS Moselle/Burgen campsite runs along the Moselle river and is part of the State accredited resort of Burgen. Here in the oldest wine region in Germany, the steep hillsides of Fußtäl are densely covered in grapevines. The wine-growers of …the region are particularly renowned for their fine, fruity Riesling. The name of the region of Burgen comes from the large number of castles (Burg = castle in German) surrounding the area. It is best to uncover the romantic and well-maintained structures via the walking paths through the vineyards, forests or Ehrenburg castle or even on a trail path. Previously known as the ""Boot and camping center Laguna"", the campsite of course still has its large boat port with a view of the romantic Bischofstein castle. Due to the large number of locks the Moselle is also excellent for watersports like canoeing, waterskiing or even fishing. A particularly pleasant experience can be had by marvelling at the Moselle valley from above in a hot-air balloon (starting at the campsite). Furthermore the campsite has a restaurant with a terrace and a solar-heated small outdoor swimming pool to guarantee a welcome cool-down on hot days.
