"Frohe Ostern - Ein sehr schön gelegener Campingplatz. Man ist sehr schnell am Meer und zu Radfahren läd das Nordholländische Dünenreservat ein. Von Castricum gibt es eine schnelle Verbindung Richtung Amsterdam. Der Platz ist eher naturbelassen, die Sanitäranlagen eher neu und sauber. Die Arten der Stellplätze lassen keine Wünsche offen. Entweder auf Rasen unter Bäumen, bestimmt schön im Sommer oder die Stellplätze im Dünenbereich, welche nicht aus Sand sondern aus einem Muschelgemisch bestehen. Supermarkt, Imbiss und Campingshop sind vorhanden, diese haben wir aber aufgrund der aus unserer Sicht etwas hohen Preise und der Nähe zu Castricum und den dort vorhandenen Läden und Restaurants nicht genutzt. Für die Kinder gibt es viele Sport.- und Spielmöglichkeiten.

"Sehr schöner und gepflegter Campingplatz. Wir kommen wieder! - Wir waren im Mai für eine Woche mit 2 Kindern dort. Da absolute Nebensaison war, hatten wir das Glück, das wir fast alleine in unserer Ecke standen, was sehr viel Ruhe mit sich brachte. Einzig der Fluglärm, störte je nach Windrichtung etwas. Die Waschhäuser waren einfach und funktionell gehalten, aber immer sehr sauber. Das personal war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Der Untergrund ist sehr sandig und hat teilweise tiefe Löcher, ohne Mover und schiebe Hilfe, schwierig den Wohnwagen richtig zu positionieren. Zudem sind die Frischwasser Stellen je nach Stellplatz recht weit weg. Für Kinder, gibt es an jeder Ecke etwas neues zu entdecken, es gibt große und kleine Spielplätze, für jedes Alter was dabei. Der Spar Markt auf dem Platz, bietet alles was man zum Leben brauch und ist gut sortiert. Der Strand könnte etwas näher sein, aber da kann ja der Campingplatz nichts für. Alles in Allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder!

"Schöner Vor-Oster-Aufenthalt, gerne kommen wir wieder - Wir haben eine schöne Woche in Bakkum verbracht! Große Parzellen unter hohen Kiefern, die ganze Infrastruktur war geöffnet, obwohl der Platz nur zu ca. 10% belegt war. Die "kontaktlose" An- und Abreise via Kennzeichen-Scan funktioniert reibungslos. Sehr schön auch die vielen Parkplätze, um die Zugfahrzeuge nicht am Wohnwagen stehen lassen zu müssen! Aufgrund der Windrichtung hörte man immer mal wieder Flugzeuge im Landanflug auf Amsterdam, aber insgesamt nicht sehr störend. Die Umgebung mit den hervorragend ausgebauten und ausgeschilderten Wander- und Radwegen ist schon für sich die Reise wert! In 12 min mit dem Fahrrad nach Castricum zum Bahnhof, dann in 20 min mit dem Zug nach Amsterdam ins Zentrum - was will man mehr! Der Weg zum Strand ist ca. 1 km lang, das Übersteigen der letzten Düne vor dem Strand sicherlich ein wenig anstrengend, aber wir sind ja im Urlaub... Das Restaurant kocht wirklich lecker und die Preise sind angemessen. Der kleine SPAR-Supermarkt hat wirklich alles was man so benötigt, allerdings sollte man sich ein Foto der Öffnungszeiten machen, diese sind nicht "merk-freundlich". Die Sanitärhäuser sind einfach, aber völlig in Ordnung, ziemlich neu und sauber. Die Reinigungs-Frequenz war für die geringe Platzbelegung ausreichend, im Sommer muss hier aber sicherlich deutlich mehr geschehen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, ein Tipp noch für ein wirklich gutes Essen in toller Atmosphäre: Restaurant "Het Ruiterhuys", ca. 1,5 km entfernt!

"Guter Durchschnitt, aber nicht mehr...! - Schöner großer Platz (sehr weitläufig, da viele DC & Mobile Homes) mit vielen Spielmöglichkeiten und verschiedensten Stellplätzen. Unsere Kinder (6+10) waren eigentlich den ganzen Tag mit ihren Fahrrädern unterwegs. Der Weg zum Strand ist teilweise sehr beschwerlich. Man fährt besser über die Hauptstraße nach Castricum aan Zee. Am meisten hat uns jedoch gestört, dass das Toilettenpapier ausschließlich auf dem Gang vorhanden war sowie die Sauberkeit des Häuschens insgesamt. Der Versuch, es mit dieser Methode sauberer zu gestalten, ging leider voll nach hinten los. Ständig lag überall in den Sitzparzellen Klopapier rum. Und schon vorher zu berechnen, wieviel Papier man tatsächlich braucht, halte ich persönlich für schwierig. Das Reinigungspersonal hätte sich zudem öfter blicken lassen können (ja ich weiß, die Camper tragen daran eine nicht unwesentliche Mitschuld!) Naja, insgesamt war es ein netter Aufenthalt, wir werden vermutlich jedoch nicht wiederkommen, da es in Holland deutlich schönere Plätze gibt.

The smell of moss, pine needles under your feet and the sound of birds around you... …At Camping Bakkum, time sometimes seems to stand still. Here you really have time for each other! Have breakfast together, play games and discover nature. Children who play outside all day long, build huts and go-karting. There is a friend everywhere to play with. The pleasant meeting square forms the vibrant heart of the campsite. A place to connect and enjoy each other. Here you still experience that real 'we feeling'. Want to enjoy the outdoors to the full in a tent, caravan or camper? Or would you rather experience something more luxurious and that outdoor feeling? That's certainly possible! In one of our nice accommodations, such as a Duinzicht or Duinroos. There is no time for boredom at the campsite. We organize all kinds of fun activities during the season. Creative and sporting activities, but also spectacular shows in our open-air theater 'De Pan'. Our campsite is located in North Holland in the middle of the dune reserve, just 950m from the beach of Castricum. Can be reached on foot from the campsite via a dune path.
