"Beautiful place by the lake - The campsite is located on the outskirts of Kristinehamn directly on the Vänern lake. The town is easily accessible by bike, as is the Picasso sculpture.

"Nice big campsite - Park-like area by the lake. Large pitches with electricity, also suitable for long WW and mobile homes. Swedish and English spoken. Many transient campers for just one night. There are cab boats from the campsite to the village and the islands. We had no mosquitoes! Contrary to other reviews, I did find a power socket in the toilets in sanitary block 2 for blow-drying and shaving. The shower cubicles I used were big enough and had a shower curtain so my clothes stayed dry.

"A beautiful place with small flaws - After a very friendly consultation with free choice of pitch, we moved into our pitch near the new Servicehus 2. The site makes a good impression overall, but on closer inspection there was some cause for criticism, especially around the new service building. The toilets (unisex), which can be accessed directly from the outside, are very cramped and don't have power sockets. It is worse in the showers, which are also directly accessible from the outside and have no "changing area" apart from one cubicle - the clothes you bring with you are stored unprotected in the "shower cubicle". There are no power sockets in the entire service building - bad for those who want to blow-dry their hair or shave electrically, The kitchen has a washing-up area - hot water is only available from a tap in an existing bowl. 2 outside washing-up areas also have only one hot water tap and 1 washing-up bowl. Anyone visiting this site should rather use the old service building and choose an appropriate site. The place was relatively expensive and showers cost 10 SEK for 6 minutes - WLAN free and good.

"Once & never again. Poor information on occupancy in June 2016 - Not a bad place in itself. On the lake directly only tent meadow. Not usable due to massive contamination by goose and duck droppings. Occupancy of the huts near the sanitary house 2 by asylum seekers. Not a problem in itself, but the showers/toilets and communal kitchen were permanently occupied and besieged. My wife was almost followed to our tent trailer by a man after going to the toilet at night. Would have been nice to be informed at the registration desk. Then we would have looked for another pitch near sanitary building 1. Pitch no longer accessible by car after 10pm. You have to park quite far outside.

Vi erbjuder en fyrstjärnig omgivning och miljö för ett barnvänligt semesterboende, personlig service och mängder med aktiviteter!
