"Vacation in May 2026 - It was a nice 3 days, but we won't be visiting the campsite again. The sanitary facilities really need to be done, it ruins the vacation!

"excellent for kids - overall a very nice place to stay with kids all ages. felt like I got money value. It is also very close to Flensburg Germany if you want to take a daytrip there.

"Nice weekend in November - We spent a week here in November. The arrival was very uncomplicated. Nice reception and free choice of pitch. We quickly found a pitch in the off-season. The sanitary blocks were all open. All nice and warm! And most importantly, they were clean. They were also cleaned regularly, despite the low season. There are really great children's bathrooms! You don't get claustrophobic in the showers. In summer there is a snack bar and an outdoor pool. Some pitches are adventurously sloping. You have to balance well. The kitchens and lounges were also clean and you could sit together there in the evening. There are several footpaths around the site. There are several small playgrounds for children and a really great big playground! For bad weather there is also a recreation room with table tennis and a pool table. And a lovingly designed room for smaller children. We had a wonderful short vacation and can say: GREAT PLACE! THANK YOU!

"Large and clean campsite with good service facilities - A site with many permanent campers. But there are also a number of tourist pitches which, with a few exceptions, can quickly become boggy in wet weather. Great service buildings with all the trimmings, always clean.

"Good children's site with many activities during the holidays - Always have a great activity program for the kids during the holidays. Ours are especially fond of the circus school week during the summer vacation. For the adults, there are the surroundings with Flenborg just around the corner and the beach and forest by the campsite. If you're staying there for several days during the high season, choose a site not right next to the main road if you want peace and quiet (goes without saying, but still).

"Align expectations! - Not sure why they got 4 stars, but we probably expected too much! Had rented a 5-star cabin w. dog, and the cabin was beautifully cleaned on arrival. The fact that there was a lack of cutlery and crockery (6 people) is another matter. We also could not find the high chair we had ordered because of 10,-kr. Nor were there smoke alarms in the two brackets screwed to the ceilings in the living room and bedroom. And when we wanted to watch the Tour De France there was no TV2...even though our friends in the neighboring cabin had TV2. Asked at the reception about these two things, a technician would come. The next day a guy came and set up (1) smoke alarm and tried to tune the TV...failed! The message was that if we wanted to watch the Tour De France, we had to channel search every time, because they were not on the same channel!!!? Subsequently, the tenant of the house did a thorough setup and got TV2! The selection in the kiosk/shop is extremely poor! We had forgotten zinc ointment for the little one, but could only get powder and three types of auto shampoo. The steam bath in the pool area was - in high season - broken, and would NOT be fixed!!??? (ØHH!!???) When paying installments of 3900, - we had to give 48, - kr. in what frigård Camping calls Online card fee! I.e. little 100 kr. in total!!!? Naughty! Final cleaning is NOT included in the high cabin rent of 7700,-/week! When we rented a cabin at Fanø Camping and LaLandia, final cleaning was included! incl.!!! WIFI-LAN just does not work! Had ordered a high chair (10 kr.)...but it was not there. so ok did not need it afterwards, but it contributes to the fact that it seems very sloppy at Frigård Camping!

Enjoy the free …atmosphere, the beautiful nature, the many activities for young and old – and a cozy holiday as far south as possible – that is, in Denmark. Let the children play, bathe and frolic in the morning and go on a trip to Germany together later in the day. It is a holiday without limits. We look forward to seeing you in Southern Jutland – we are open all year round!

Directions

If you are coming from the north Follow E45 to exit 74, continue straight on until the big Kruså crossroads, turn left towards Sønderborg, drive about 700 m , then turn right along Fjordvejen, follow this road for 3 km …to Kollund. When you have almost passed through Kollund you will see the camping sign. Turn left along Kummelefort and after about 300 m you’ll find the main entrance on your right. If you are coming from the south Follow E45 to exit 75. Turn right towards Sønderborg, continue straight on until the big Kruså crossroads, then follow the signs to the campsite along Fjordvejen and when you have almost passed through Kollund you will see the camping sign. Turn left along Kummelefort and after about 300 m you’ll find the main entrance.
