"Very nicely located place with some compromises - A great pity. The cleaning of the sanitary facilities was unfortunately very irregular and far too infrequent. Sometimes only every 2nd or 3rd day, which meant that the toilet paper kept running out. When cleaning was done, it was often in the morning at peak times. We were told that unfortunately no staff could be found and that the janitor service from Weiden was unreliable. The toilet paper dilemma was tried to be solved by the reception staff themselves. Hopefully a solution will be found soon as the permanent campers have also been very dissatisfied for some time and their complaints have so far been unsuccessful. This state of affairs ruins the otherwise very good overall impression, especially as you can expect more for the price here.

"Beautiful lake view - We've already been here twice and would love to come again. We like the lake and the fact that you can walk around it. You also have a nice view of the lake due to the terrace location. The wash houses are also okay, but the shower time is charged directly according to consumption. If you have long hair, you can leave a fortune there. The restaurant serves delicious food and ice cream. If we had children, they would love the really great playground.

"Absolutely unsuitable for individual travelers! - Because the reception is unmanned, it's okay to register by phone. But the fact that there is only a closed restaurant and a locked kiosk on site at 5.30 p.m. during a good summer bathing season is not acceptable. Instead, the closed office window informs you of the number of households that have been supplied with electricity in today's sunshine. A great comfort for the exhausted guest! No drinks machine, no coffee machine, no tables for self-catering = simply nothing! Open restaurants or supermarkets are miles away. By car a piece of cake, by bike without a motor and already on the road all day, impossible. After a restless night, because the bright site lighting gives the impression that the tent is on a soccer pitch during an international match, you have to wait until 9 o'clock the next morning, because that's when the reception opens for the overpriced billing... Only the location and tranquillity by the lake is worth the trip.

"too expensive for the services - for me too much money for little performance if you want to have it a bit quieter, this is the right place. But the people at the city council should check their price structure, or do they want nobody to come? Who knows....

Unser ganzjährig geöffneter, terrassenförmig angelegter Campingplatz verfügt über 200 …Stellplätze und liegt am gleichnamigen 9 Hektar großen Naturbadesee Gaisweiher. 200 Stellplätze für Durchgangs- und Dauercamper, einen großen Zeltplatz und rings herum Natur pur. Auf dem Zeltplatz steht außerdem eine Grillhütte, die bis zu 120 Personen Platz bietet. Zwei Grills sind in der Hütte vorhanden. Der Grillrost kann gegen Pfand in der Rezeption ausgeliehen werden. Direkt vor der Grillhütte befindet sich ein Lagerfeuerplatz,. Auf unserem Campingplatz sind außerdem im Abstand von ca. 30 Metern Stromkästen und Wasserentnahmestellen zu finden. Strom können Sie mittels CEE-Stecker entnehmen. Falls Sie einen Adapter benötigen, können Sie diesen in der Rezeption käuflich erwerben. Suchen Sie etwas Außergewöhnliches? Wie wäre es mit einer Übernachtung im Schlaffass? Singels, Paare oder Eltern mit bis zu 2 Kindern können in einem Fass übernachten, Bettwäsche wird gestellt. Wunderschön gelegen hat unser Campingplatz direkten Zugang zum See. Ruder- bzw. Schlauchboote sind erlaubt. Auf der großzügigen Liegewiese befinden sich ein Beachvolleyballfeld und ein Erlebniskinderspielplatz. Ein sehr gut erschlossenes Wander- und Radwegenetz ermöglicht Wanderfreunden den direkten Einstieg in die Idylle des Oberpfälzer Waldes.
