The small, cozy camping and caravan site offers motorhomes, caravans, and tents an …ideal place to relax and enjoy the North German landscape. On the green meadow behind the dike, guests can pitch their tents, park motorhomes or caravans, and enjoy the view of the greenery. Just a few steps away lies the Elbe dike – a perfect spot to observe the impressive ship traffic on the Elbe. As the Elbe leads towards the North Sea and the Kiel Canal is nearby, large freighters, container ships, and many other watercraft regularly pass through the region. The typical dike sheep can also often be seen here, shaping the North German landscape. The site is open all year round and is suitable for both a spontaneous stopover and a longer stay at the Elbe estuary. Modern sanitary cabins with showers, sinks, and toilets are available to overnight guests throughout the year. All pitches are equipped with electrical connections, and there are also facilities for freshwater supply and disposal of cassette toilets. Due to its location, Elbdeichcamp is an ideal starting point for exploring Brunsbüttel, the Elbe estuary to the North Sea, and the Kiel Canal. Whether walking on the dike, watching the passing ships, or enjoying the fresh North Sea air – the special atmosphere of the region can be experienced in every season here.
