Büsum und die Nordsee sind nur rund 30 km von hier entfernt. Friedrichstadt, wegen seiner Bauten der niederländischen Backsteinrenaissance und seiner Grachten auch als "Holländerstadt" bekannt, ist nur etwa 20 km entfernt.
