"Plenty of room for improvement - For the size of the campsite, a small shopping facility would be an advantage. The dog beach belonging to the site is far too small and there is also a volleyball court on it, complete madness! Neither humans nor dogs can relax there! Concept not thought through at all! We walked towards Trassenheide to the dog and horse beach, where it was quiet and relaxed and not overcrowded! The many cars on the site were annoying, although it is only intended for loading and unloading..... I also criticized the parking situation outside the campsite. There must be urgently pointed out to stand with the exhaust to the street and NOT in the direction of the places behind!

"1 week in August - We have already traveled to some 5 star campsites, this place is definitely not a 5 star place. Yes, the sanitary facilities are clean and ok, but far too few for the whole site. You have to queue at times to shower or use the toilet. Too few fresh water points spread over the site. Pitches are not really parceled out. Electricity connection available, but the cables are sometimes laid across the pitch. Not enough playgrounds for children. A 5 star pitch should have its own: fresh water connection, waste water connection, electricity connection. WLAN not available at all except at the reception. Mobile data very poor reception, sometimes no phone call possible. Prices camping restaurant overpriced.

"simply perfect - top sanitary facilities, very clean pitches, friendly staff and only 100m to the Baltic Sea. Pure sandy beach. That's how I imagine a vacation. Perfect for exploring the island.

"Relaxed vacation in autumn - In the fall, only about 20% of the pitch was occupied. It is located directly behind the dunes. The caravans are pulled onto the sandy pitches by tractor with a lot of experience. Apart from one stormy night, we had a very relaxing vacation. In the fall, occupancy is very manageable and you don't really need to make a reservation. If you like the proximity to the sea and the peace and quiet, then this is the right place for you. In the fall you have to cycle to the nearby bakery. When it rains, the sand residue in the sanitary buildings is normal. However, they were cleaned regularly. Always happy to come back!

"Only suitable for large tents, motorhomes & campers - Conclusion: The campsite run by the municipality is certainly the first choice in terms of location, but is unsuitable for solo travelers, cyclists or people who want to make contact quickly. These people should rather camp in the neighboring village of Trassenheide. (10 minutes by bike).

A light sea breeze carries the sound of the waves and the sea air into the tents and caravans. The Dünencamp has 340 pitches. The Dünencamp has been awarded 5 stars by the German Tourism Association for its excellent infrastructure, sanitary facilities, and technical supply of the pitches. The first-class overall facilities of the site offer excellent camping conditions all year round. Family-friendly camping Even the youngest campers are catered for. The sanitary facilities at Dünencamp are equipped with changing tables and baby bathtubs. Extra low sinks in two family bathrooms make children feel like grown-ups when brushing their teeth and washing their hands. The reception building also has a cozy playroom and Karlchen's book camp for rainy days. State-of-the-art facilities There are three modern and clean sanitary buildings on the Dünencamp site. Toilets, single and family showers, and two disabled-friendly bathrooms are available to campers here.

Anfahrt per PKW Aus dem Süden erreicht man Karlshagen über die A11 und dann die neue A20 bis Abfahrt Gützkow und auf der B111 durch Wolgast auf die Insel Usedom und in der Ortschaft Bannemin links Richtung Karlshagen. Von Westen …kommend fahren Sie über die A20 bis zur Abfahrt Greifswald, auf der L26 weiter in Richtung Greifswald. Kurz vor Greifswald folgen Sie der Umgehungsstraße Richtung Anklam (B109). Der B109 folgen Sie bis zur Ampelkreuzung Abzweig Wolgast (B111) und fahren durch Wolgast auf die Insel Usedom, in der Ortschaft Bannemin links Richtung Karlshagen. In Karlshagen fahren Sie die Strandstraße Richtung Strand und biegen kurz vor dem Ende rechts ab in die Zeltstraße. Bitte beachten Sie bei Ihrer Anreise auf die Insel die Brückenöffnungszeiten!
