Henk R.June 20264.0HRHenk R.June 2026AdvantagesThe RV sites are easily accessible and spacious. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained, and there’s a lovely swimming pond. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. There’s also a nice campground for hikers at the entrance to the campsite.NegativesI can't really think of any drawbacks.A beautiful, quiet, small-scale campgroundThere are many permanent sites scattered throughout the grounds. However, this is not a problem.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. - 4.0WPWerner P.January 20234.0WPWerner P.January 2023AdvantagesManageable site with parceled-out pitches. Pitches at the front of the site and by the bathing lake are reserved for tourist campers. Partly water and partly waste water directly at the pitches. Separate tent meadow with a few permanent "loges". Well-kept facilities and sanitary facilities. Small quarry pond with direct access for campers. Nice lounge for guests with drinks machine. There is also an outdoor seating area with a view of the lake. The manager looks after his guests and the campsiteNegativesSomewhat tight radii with a long trailer or motorhomeSmall and fineIf you're not looking for the hustle and bustle and event facilities of a large campsite, this is the place for you.
A nice, manageable campsite with no frills. The "interaction" between permanent campers and vacation guests works well here. Vacation guests are usually accommodated in the front area... of the site or adjacent to the quarry pond. This small bathing lake tempts you to jump into the cold water in the warmer months. There is also plenty of space for motorhomes on the edge of the site towards the adjacent field. There is a small playground for small children. There is also a meadow for tents, e.g. for camping cyclists. You can walk your dog in the adjacent rural area. A recreation room with a drinks machine is a nice service. In the season there are also other services on offer. Bakery vans, snack vans selling delicious chicken, chips etc. or burgers.
Donauwörth can be reached in 10 minutes, Augsburg or Nördlingen in 30 minutes by car. From Donauwörth there is a good train connection. Shopping facilities on site in a nice village store or in A.-Bäumenheim, 3 km away.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful. - 4.0
Günter P.May 20224.0Günter P.May 2022AdvantagesLocationNegativesReception barely mannedSmall space in a good locationThe site is idyllically situated on a lake and ideal for excursions in the surrounding area (e.g. Augsburg, Donauwörth). Also ideal for cyclists, as it is mostly flat.
The site is currently being gradually renovated. The pitches for tourists are not very large, but have water and waste water. The groundsman... is very friendly and helpful when available.
We had the impression that many fitters were staying on the site and that tourists were just being taken along. This would be a great pity.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. The relaxed atmosphere, peace and quiet, nice people. A facility worth recommending. A little impersonal because of the payment machines... for example. - 3.0GMGerd M.October 20173.0GMGerd M.October 2017AdvantagesFriendly (2016) Quiet Conveniently located for the entire Danube-Lech region InexpensiveNegativesModerate cleanliness in the sanitary facilitiesActually a beautiful place.(2016) Very level grass pitches, good access, the rows are separated by trees, sufficient power connections and water taps. The site looks clean and tidy. Very clear and affordable pricing. Arrival is always possible, except during periods when driving is prohibited, if you know about it! There is a... kind of parking ticket machine at the entrance where you select and pay your tariff and length of stay, you then receive several receipts and the card for the barrier. Unfortunately, this good service is not signposted anywhere, so other campers had to point it out to us first. The sanitary facilities are okay but unfortunately very poorly maintained. The walls, doors etc. just need to be cleaned occasionally. There is a second sanitary block under the recreation room with a frost-proof water supply. Unfortunately, there are no signs here either. As the campsite has changed owners/tenants and the remaining construction work on the "wash house" is still in progress, I hope that the little things that negatively affect the overall impression will be changed. Then it will be a simple but good campsite. PS (2017): We were now the 2nd time on the site, probably not the last time either. Pitches and price are still very good, sanitary ok, could be better with little effort. Unfortunately, nothing has changed with the signage for new arrivals. Except for the explanation "Please do not throw wet wipes in the toilets!" in 4 languages. The "lady" at reception takes some getting used to with her individual friendliness.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!

Katrin H.August 20174.0Katrin H.August 2017AdvantagesA beautiful place, clean sanitary facilities with a swimming lakeNegativesWebsite prices are not maintained :( As of August 2017A nice place unfortunately on website different information for overnight pricesA very nice place, we have chosen via website, according to website from August 2017 all year ACSI. 17 € When paying the surprise came we had to pay 25 € for the overnight stay. For us a loss of 24 € plus 16 € for the ACSI card.... You should ask again before you go to the campsite.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first! - 1.0GTGerhold T.May 20171.0GTGerhold T.May 2017NegativesNO electricity for tentsTents are not supplied with electricity! We wanted to spend 2 nights here with a tent. But unfortunately that was not possible. As I am dependent on electricity due to illness, we were turned away in a very unfriendly manner. The lady at reception initially waved her arms in the direction of a small wooden hut. I still can't make sense of it.... When we asked for a place for 2 people with a tent and electricity, she said it wasn't possible. It was also impossible on a pitch as her employer would not allow it. We then drove to another pitch and felt very discriminated against.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!
- 3.0IGIgnaz G.April 20173.0IGIgnaz G.April 2017Advantagesgood locationNegativesPoor cleanliness in the sanitary areaGreat campsite with some drawbacksThe campsite is very quiet, we absolutely loved the location. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fine. You first have to get used to the fact that you have to check in via a barrier computer, although there was friendly support right away, but it was absolutely unproblematic. The only thing we... didn't like was the neglected or non-existent cleaning of the entire toilet and shower areas (in the main house and in the house by the lake). What a pity... If the cleanliness in the sanitary area would take place, we would certainly come again.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!

But we were kindly offered a good price straight away. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facility has become very great since the new owner is there. The lake invites you to swim and is nice and clean. It has always been nice... and quiet. The only thing that could be better is the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. But otherwise a good and quiet place with large parzenlenAutomatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!

Valentin E.August 20165.0Valentin E.August 2016Beautiful somewhat secluded placeAlthough the site is a little out of town, this should not be a reason not to visit this site. The whole site makes a very clean and well-kept impression. I found the sanitary facilities to be in a clean condition at all times. W-LAN corresponds to the German standard. Reception only near the reception/stay room. The staff is very friendly and courteous. I can describe this place with a clear conscience as very well run. I will be back.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful. - 4.0HSHans S.August 20164.0HSHans S.August 2016AdvantagesQuiet friendly flexible Good location for excursions towards Altmühltal Swabian Jura Augsburg Eichstätt and much more.NegativesThere could be a restaurant in the square, but 2 restaurants are almost within walking distance.Unbureaucratic, friendly administration to make you feel at homeOur 2CV club spent 4 days on this beautifully laid out site. The groundsman and all the staff looked after us very well. For example, 20 rolls were baked especially for us on Sunday morning, as we had forgotten to order them in advance. Large individual pitches with a great overall atmosphere. We have already booked again for next year. NAutomatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!
- 2.0PKPetra K.May 20162.0PKPetra K.May 2016AdvantagesBeautiful location, very quietNegativesOnly lukewarm water No clean sanitary facilitiesAs a DCC member, avoid this place! We recently stayed at this site as it is described in the DCC camping guide as a Plus advantage site. On arrival we pretended to be a DCC member as we were planning a trip from the DCC to this site. The staff were friendly until we asked about the DCC flat rate for Plus pitches. The groundsman then told... us that this flat rate would no longer apply and that we would have to pay the full price as his boss had terminated the agreement with the club. After consultation with the DCC Munich, the course must still grant the flat rate until the end of the year, despite the termination. If you don't honor contracts, you can't expect our club to go there and then be at the mercy of a "groundsman" who promises everything, but certainly delivers nothing.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful.
- 5.0KGKlaus G.May 20165.0KGKlaus G.May 2016AdvantagesFriendly welcome, very quiet location, hiking and cycling tours from CP possible, clean sanitary facilities, bread roll service, bathing lakeNegativesNo shopping facilitiesNew management. Friendliness and cleanliness very good. Keep up the good workWe stayed at the campsite from 05.05.-08.05.2016 and were pleasantly surprised. The campsite is really blossoming under new management. From a very friendly welcome to a quiet location and clean sanitary facilities (which were not so at Christmas) and a new wash house and vacation homes, the campsite... is more than worth a recommendation. The location is ideal for excursions to Augsburg and Munich or the Donau-Ries area for cycling and hiking tours. We are already looking forward to our next vacation at the Donau-Lech-Campingplatz, keep up the good work. - 4.0GBGregor B.July 20154.0GBGregor B.July 2015AdvantagesQuiet, very large pitches, also with shade. Clean sanitary facilities, bread roll service, beautiful bathing lake. Friendly staff.NegativesSupplement supply station fresh water hoseVery relaxed weekend, gladly againWe spent a super relaxing weekend on this very idyllic site. The site (rental accommodation under construction) is very well maintained and newly built. The pitches are extremely spacious and you have absolute peace and quiet, as it is not overcrowded (hopefully it will stay that way). The lake is a... dream as it is big enough for swimming and the beach area is lovingly maintained. The sanitary facilities are clean, but when fully occupied (which hopefully won't happen) it can get cramped. A second dishwashing sink would be nice. Also the disposal is as you would wish, directly at the entrance area. The only thing is that a second hose for fresh water should be installed, as the current one is also used to rinse the Chemtoi. I cannot understand Beate's review in June 2015. Both ladies at reception are on the ball, friendly, completely uncomplicated and very helpful. I am also surprised that Beate is passing through that she stayed 2 days despite the allegedly catastrophic place ( ???!!!). Just that there are only pitches, lake and sanitary building (a new one is being built and can of course lead to construction noise, but not with us), is the beauty of this place.who needs animation, should make a wide berth around the place. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the natural surroundings and will be back. GregorAutomatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!
