"Very satisfied - There’s nothing to complain about—it’s a very nice, well-maintained, and well-organized campground. Very kid-friendly. You can even let the kids run around on their own without worrying because everyone looks out for each other. The staff were always in a good mood and have a huge heart for kids! Whether it’s making sure the kids don’t stay out in the sun too long or helping shy kids feel included. Great team, great amenities—we’d love to come back. Time flew by so fast!! There are shopping options nearby (about 1.8 km away), and the campground kiosk sells toiletries, snacks, and drinks.

"I highly recommend it - The campground offers plenty of activities for kids, including horseback riding almost every day, ATV rides for young children, slides, and much, much more. The staff is very nice and friendly.

"Our PERFECT Vacation - I can hardly put into words just how wonderful this vacation was for me and my daughter. It was the first time as a mother that I was able to truly unwind. The staff are simply GREAT, starting with Sabrina, who always managed to bring a smile to the kids’ faces—and the playful banter with Bianca was just magical. The rest of the campground team was always extremely kind and helpful. Then there’s the stable team—it’s amazing how much passion the kids and teens put into their work. Jenny was so warm; our conversations with her were wonderful. Pascal was so attentive, and we had a great time chatting with him, too. Andrea is so full of life and pride, and there’s such a wonderful sense of camaraderie among the entire team. And if we’d stayed even longer, I’m sure we would have met many more wonderful people. Thanks to this atmosphere, we were so deeply relaxed. The activities offered to the kids are unbeatable, and by evening they’re so worn out that they fall asleep quickly. I could write so many more wonderful things. My conclusion is that even if it isn’t the most visually appealing campground, the points I’ve mentioned above make that completely irrelevant. We’ll be back 1000% next year.

"It's better to camp somewhere else - I really cannot recommend this campground at all to families—and especially not to women traveling alone with a child. We were at the so-called “nature site,” a huge meadow where there was literally no one else besides us. Even so, the aggressive shouting of men during the night was very close to us. The shouting got really loud, aggressive, and felt threatening to me. On top of that, there were repeated loud bangs that sounded like gunshots to me. I don’t know if they were actually gunshots, but it was definitely loud and threatening! My child woke up crying several times. I myself didn’t get a wink of sleep all night. On top of that, there was extremely loud music and a party going on until about 6 a.m. at the campground for regular guests. I wrote to the campground that very night and explicitly stated that I was afraid. I received no help. It wasn’t until the next morning that I received a message saying I could come to the front desk to discuss it. But when we got there, no one was there. There was just a note that said, “Be right back.” After that, I left the campground and drove with my child to another one. Where, by the way, there was quite a lot going on everywhere. There were also no other activities for children during our stay. The advertised horseback riding didn’t take place. There was no kids’ club. Even the train that was supposed to run there wasn’t running. The restaurant was closed. The lake also had a very unpleasant smell. And then there was the oak processionary moth. My child and I developed extremely severe, intensely itchy skin reactions. In my case, almost my entire body was affected; even today, weeks later, I’m still having problems. I had several severely inflamed areas and had to seek medical treatment and take cortisone. The operator later confirmed that the infestation was already known before our arrival. Nevertheless, we were not informed about it either at check-in or at our campsite. On the

"Never Again, Haselünne - Every star they give is one too many. On top of that, the construction noise woke us up at 6:00 a.m. There was car traffic in the parking lot from 5:00 a.m. onward due to long-term campers. We cut our vacation short!!

"Once Haselünne - never Haselünne again - Once Haselünne-never Haselünne again. The horses were of course the highlight, but everything else is in desperate need of renovation. Dirty permanent campsites, foul-smelling siphons in the ladies' showers, no kiosk that you can call a kiosk, a pub that you only know from the most outdated movies and was hardly ever open. There were also sandy dirt pitches and the riding program was a joke during the week. The kids were allowed to fetch the animals from the pasture, ride for 30 minutes and that was it. The Shetland ponies were housed in the worst horse poop and the goose poop at the lake was the highlight for 4 days of the dog's diarrhea. Sorry, that was nothing. Too bad, we just drove 500km for it.
