"Very nice and quiet - We stayed there for 2 nights with our tent and will definitely be back. A friendly team, the quiet location, paired with a boat rental and Perleberg as a nearby excursion destination make this place very nice for water enthusiasts.

"A beautiful place as always - We have been visiting the site for years. With a change of operator, it would be good if not only the price increased. The showers could do with an overhaul to bring them up to today's standards. Paper towel bins could be checked and cleaned. Spider webs do not have to hang from the ceiling. An adjusted price would also be OK. We would like to understand everything here as a suggestion. We will be back. Family Grommek

"Very quiet place - Nice little pitch at a restaurant. Everything you need is included in the pitch fee, apart from showers. There is nothing special for campers on foot, but cyclists will certainly get their money's worth. And always remember, camper van drivers greet each other.

"idyllic place with considerable potential for improvement - The site has a perfect location on an island in the Stepenitz. The outdated sanitary facilities make a very unkempt overall impression. There are plenty of cobwebs and fly droppings. The washing up area is even more germy and there is no hot water for washing up. We wanted to use the pedal boats advertised on the homepage. All defective. They are all at the tip of the island and probably not just recently. So fake on the homepage. There were plenty of empty bottles at the garbage can. The price-performance ratio of the restaurant is also not really good. That branches can break off the trees during storms is normal, but then it should also be cleaned up afterwards. There would have been time for this; simply save the team-building measures with a cigarette at the table behind the restaurant. Our suggestion: take a wide detour.

"We would love to come back again. - Found the place on the internet for an overnight stay in between our actual vacation destination. We were pleasantly surprised and would love to come back for a longer stay.

Die 1303 erstmals erwähnte Wassermühle bei Perleberg ist heute ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel. Das idyllisch auf einer …kleinen Halbinsel gelegene Anwesen mit Gaststätte, Reisemobilhafen, Campingplatz und modern eingerichteten Appartements direkt über dem Wasser bietet ganzjährig die Möglichkeit, inmitten der Natur die Seele baumeln zu lassen oder von hier aus die Prignitz zu erkunden. Auch Naturliebhaber mit Wohnmobil sind auf der kleinen Halbinsel vor den Toren der Stadt willkommene Gäste. Wer einen Stellplatz direkt am Wasser bevorzugt – kein Problem! Denn der Reisemobilplatz ist behindertengerecht und so angelegt, dass jeder der 18 Plätze direkten Zugang zur Stepenitz, einem der saubersten Flüsse Deutschlands, hat. Moderne sanitäre Einrichtungen mit Duschen und WC sowie Entsorgungsmöglichkeiten für chemikalienfreie WC’s stehen den Gästen zur Verfügung. Sofern Stellplätze nicht belegt sind, können auch Camper an der „Neuen Mühle“ ihre Zelte aufschlagen. Möglichkeiten der Freizeitgestaltung bieten die nahe gelegene (nicht bewachte) Badestelle, Fahrradverleih, Kinderspielplatz sowie Boots- und Tretbootverleih. Bei Bedarf können auch Zelte geliehen werden. Und ein überdachter Grillplatz ermöglicht stimmungsvolle Barbecue-Abende. Ebenfalls vor Ort: ein Anleger für größere, motorlose Boote sowie Liegeplätze direkt am Caravan-Stellplatz für kleinere, motorlose Boote.
