"Good standard pitch with large parking spaces - Urban site away from the center, supermarket directly in front of the entrance. Large, fully equipped sanitary building in the middle of the site, clean except for the droppings of the swallows that nest under the roof ... (but you can tolerate that ... )

"Great campsite - A great campsite for newcomers like me. We had everything we needed for our short stay. A lake to walk around, a fire pit right there and a charming mud playground and a large playground at the front entrance. Nice staff, helpful "neighbors". Our conclusion: we'll be back!

"Everything is fine. - We stayed at the campsite for one night while driving through, the temperatures and the weather were against a swim in the lake, which was right next to our camper. Very friendly staff in the restaurant, there are schnitzels of all kinds, we were happy not to have to cook after the long drive and were very satisfied with the service and the food. We can recommend the campsite and restaurant.

"Good location for Papenburg - Ultimately a beautiful CP. We had the misfortune to be on a very shady pitch. Wash houses are good. Good starting point for a visit to Papenburg. Restaurant doesn't have much choice, all kinds of schnitzel. However, we were lucky enough to be offered self-marinated skewers, the schnitzel was also delicious.

At Campingplatz Papenburg, you’re right in the middle of the forest but still close to the lake with a sandy beach. The pitches are marked out and offer varying amounts of shade. Whether you come with a caravan or motorhome, …or prefer one of the cozy rental options like a mobile home, cabin, or chalet — everything is possible. There are playgrounds and a sports area for the kids, and you can swim or go stand-up paddleboarding on the lake. If you like being active, great cycling routes start right at the campsite. It’s a place where nature and comfort go hand in hand. If you don’t feel like cooking yourself, there’s a snack bar and a bistro offering fresh bread and light meals. Dogs are allowed on a leash, both in high and low season. And you’ll have Wi-Fi access on almost the entire site.
