Palumpa-Land erblickte im Jahr 2008 das Licht der Welt. Der Platz ist aus der Idee heraus entstanden - einen Ort zu erschaffen, der zum Innehalten und Wohlfühlen einlädt. Dazu wurden viele schöne Materialien, Formen und Farben gewählt. Landschaftlich integriert sich … das Ganze sehr schön in die Natur, gelegen ist es an einem 110 ha großen See, der am Fuße des Nationalparks Hainich am geografischen Mittelpunkt Deutschlands liegt. Es gibt einen sehr schönen Sandstrand, eine Strandbar, Festunterkünfte, Gruppenunterkünfte, Stellplätze auf dem Platz direkt oder auf dem Freigelände.
