Der Campingplatz Forellenhof ist ruhig gelegen und macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Ein Hofladen mit Forellen aus hauseigener Züchtung und Verarbeitung bringen Camper und Besucher schmackhaft zubereitete Speisen im campingplatzeigenem Restaurant mit Terrasse auf den Tisch. Auf dem Campingplatz Forellenhof … haben sich viele Dauercamper niedergelassen, die Wohnmobilstellplätze befinden sich rund um den Forellenteich. Camper für kurze Zeit und spontane Durchreisende können eine Zeltwiese und die Stellplätze vor dem Restaurant auf festem Boden am Teich nutzen. Ein Kinderspielplatz für Kinder bis 5 Jahre ist vorhanden. Strom- und Wasseranschlüsse befinden sich bei den Sanitäranlagen, die über eine Brücke begehbar sind. Ein Fluss bzw. Bach fließt direkt durch den Campingplatz an den Sanitäranlagen vorbei. W-Lan gibt es nicht. Für Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung ist dieser Platz wegen seiner Stufen und dem Übergang zur Toilette weniger geeignet. Die Umgebung eignet sich ausgezeichnet für Wander- und Radtouren.
