Die Anfahrt zum Deulowitzer See erfolgt über die B 320 Abzweig L 46, Kreuzung Schenkendöbern, in Richtung Atterwasch ( Groß-Gastrose) . Am Ortseingang Atterwasch links, Richtung Deulowitzer See abbiegen. Aus südlicher Richtung über die B 112 in der Ortschaft Groß … Gastrose, in Richtung B 320 Schenkendöbern abfahren und dann am Ortsausgang Atterwasch,zum Deulowitzer See rechts abbiegen. Mit der Bahn erreicht man das Erholungsgebiet über die Haltestelle Kerkwitz an der Strecke Cottbus - Guben, ca. 1 km entfernt.
