"One night - Stayed on the site for one night, right on the Elbe. The restaurant in the immediate vicinity offers good food for a fair price. The welcome at reception was very warm.

"Three nights in a safari tent - The complex is beautifully situated in Königstein on the Elbe. Very good starting point for beautiful hikes (Bastei - Lilienstein - fortress). Excellent service from Lutz and Annette who are extremely friendly, warm and very helpful. Washrooms and toilets very clean, directly opposite the safari tents. Breakfast was also very good. Dinner was also good, as was the Greek restaurant in the village. We will be back. Thomas and Dorothea Sauter (63 and 65 years old)

"Super location directly on the Elbe - Great CP in a fantastic location directly on the Elbe, very nice and friendly staff, great starting point for hikes in Saxon Switzerland or for paddling on the Elbe, sanitary facilities are very clean and only accessible to CP visitors

"Super campsite - We (couple) spent the night in a wooden barrel...just brilliant...enough space for 2 adults with luggage (motorcycle gear). Very quiet location, slept really well. The entire campsite was very clean, including the sanitary facilities. Very friendly staff, will definitely be back. The breakfast was amazing, hardly any 4* hotel has such an offer....super tasty.

"Somewhat cramped location - Clean campsite right on the Elbe. Personally, it was too cramped for me, which of course also led to noise pollution. The upper pitches towards the guesthouse are not particularly well located. Direct location on the Elbe cycle path which is positive. The train is also on site. You have to know that the passenger train runs every half hour and in between the freight traffic.

Profile

"Camping Am Treidlerweg" ist ein neuer Campingplatz im Herzen der Sächsischen Schweiz in Königstein und ist ideal für Familien geeignet. An seiner historischer Stelle, an der einst die sogenannten Treidler – im Sächsischen auch „Bomätscher“ genannt – die Segelschiffe elbaufwärts …zogen, erstreckt sich das Areal des Campingplatzes. Es stehen 40 Stellplätze für Wohnmobile und Caracans sowie 4 Zeltplätze zur Verfügung. Eine moderne Versorgungsstation stehen für die Gäste bereit. Der Sanitärkomplex beinhaltet Waschraum, Einzeldusch- und Waschkabinen, ein behinderten gerechtes WC mit Dusche sowie Wickelraum sind auch vorhanden. In schönster Lage haben die Gäste eine große Auwahl an Freizeitbeschäftigungen wie Federball, Tischtennis oder Volleyball spielen. Der Campingplatz verfügt auch über einen Grillplatz. Brötchenservice wird ebenfalls angeboten. Vom Campingplatz aus können die Gäste viele Unternehmungen tätigen. Es lohnt sich z.B. ein Besuch des nebenanliegenden Elbe-Freizeitlandes oder eine Schlauchbootfahrt auf der Elbe. Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder Fahrradtouren durch die Sächsiche Schweiz ist der Campingplatz auch bbestens geeignet.
