"Very idyllic natural campsite - We had a wonderful vacation at the campsite on Lake Kamern. You can choose your own pitch and we were able to park our bus right by the water. In the evening, we could enjoy the sunset over the lake from there. It is very quiet and idyllic. You can't hear any road noise, the birds chirp all day long and the oak forest provides pleasant shade. Another highlight is the snack bar. At first quite inconspicuous, it invites you to linger on its large terrace. The food is above average and the vegetables are fresh from their own organic garden! One small drawback is the wash house, which is up to 5 minutes' walk away, depending on where you sit. You can't expect any luxury here, but everything was always clean and was more than enough for us. We would love to come back!

Profile

Inmitten eines Natur- und Vogelschutzgebietes nur wenige Minuten von Elbe und Havel entfernt, liegt der naturbelassene, idyllische Campingplatz in einem hunderte Jahre alten Eichenwald direkt am Badesee. Das Erholungsgebiet befindet sich ca. 100 km westlich von Berlin und ca. 100 …km nördlich von Magdeburg in der Seegemeinde Kamern. Wir - das sind Olaf Christ, Hardy Heier und unser Campingplatz Team - wirtschaften naturnah und nach ökologischen Vorgaben. Hier findet ihr keine asphaltierten Straßen, dafür viel Ruhe und Entschleunigung - Natur pur! Unsere Stellplätze sind schattig und direkt am See gelegen. Durch die freie Platzwahl und den weitläufigen Wald, gibt es viel Privatsphäre und man ist unter sich. Wer kein Zelt, Bus, Wohnmobil oder Wohnwagen hat, kann auch in einem unserer Ferienbungalows übernachten. Hunde sind dabei überall erlaubt und gerne gesehen. Der Sanitärbereich verfügt über eine Grau- und Schwarzwasser-Entsorgung und natürlich über Toiletten und Duschen. Dabei verzichten wir auf Luxus und legen größten Wert auf Sauberkeit. Dem Campingbereich schließt sich ein Strandbad mit großem Spielplatz an, auf dem auch Kinder vollsten auf ihre Kosten kommen. In unserem Imbiss mit Seeterasse bieten wir Getränke und frisch zubereitete Speisen an, für welche wir fast ausschließlich Zutaten aus unserem hauseigenen BioGarten oder von Landwirten der unmittelbaren Nachbarschaft verwenden. Für den nächsten morgen könnt ihr abends hier die Brötchen bestellen. Bei uns könnt ihr Kanu- oder Bootfahren, eure SUP–, Wander- und Fahrradtouren von hier aus starten, angeln, grillen und Lagerfeuer machen. Tagsüber den Vögeln lauschen, abends den Sonnenuntergang und nachts die Sterne beobachten. Oder lasst einfach die Seele baumeln, hängt eure Hängematte zwischen den Eichen auf und schaut in das herrliche Farbspiel der Baumkronen, die sich wie ein grünes Dach über dem gesamten Platz entlang des Sees ausbreiten.
