"Beautiful in the heart of Westphalia - The site is beautifully situated near the Alberssee lake. You can go swimming there through a side gate or you can go directly to the lido. The site is characterized by very large pitches and clean, modern sanitary facilities. The general organization of the campsite is exemplary. It's simply lovely to spend time here!

"It was nice - We are here for the 2nd time, we like the very spacious pitches here. It's Whitsun and so every pitch is full, but it's still relatively quiet and relaxed here. The sanitary facilities were clean (but probably not at all times, I think an external company only came once a day to clean them), but there could be a few more showers. Our two shepherd animals loved the proximity to the water, they had a great time bathing in some places. Electricity and showers are charged according to consumption. There is a bread roll service, soft ice cream and a "mini market" vending machine. A nearby pizza service delivers to the campsite and everything was delicious (flyers are available at reception) We did not visit the coffee shop. For a short break, the campsite (just 87km from us) is highly recommended!

"Simply to relax - As it was still very early in the year, the campsite itself wasn't very busy yet. That's why there was still very little infrastructure and program. But we and our two fur noses enjoyed the peace and quiet. It's a shame that the very cozy coffee barn is only open at weekends. Very nice operators and the small farm store with the bookshelf inside gives you the necessary time-out to enjoy. Lots of good hiking opportunities in nearby Lippstadt and the surrounding area.

"Unfortunately 1 time and never again - Sanitary was cleaned only 2 times during our stay at intervals of 7 days. Otherwise only toilet paper filled. It is visibly filthy and smelly. It was terrible to shower there. Toilet was forced to be used in the used in the caravan! I don't understand where the good reviews about cleanliness come from. Our pitch was not mowed and totally full of leaves from the previous year. The paths are full of branches, leaves and mud. Garbage in the hedges. A worker was rattling around A worker rattles over the pitches at breakfast with a wheel loader and lawn roller at a good pace and clears molehills. The next day, around the same time, a tractor is used to roughly mow the lawn on the leased plot. Of course, I wasn't happy about the mowing dust in my breakfast and when they mowed next to my new E class and accepted that something would be damaged by flying branches. It was impossible to find peace and quiet. Easter 24 was spoiled for us by this place, we left 2 days earlier than planned because we couldn't stand it anymore. The showers cost 30 cents a minute extra! 45 € the night over Easter 2 adults 3 kids, whereby only 2 are charged because up to 3 years free. I definitely expect more for that. (Clean sanitary facilities and disinfectant should be a matter of course at these times! )

"Very neat! - Small but nice campsite right next to a quarry pond with a public lake bath in the immediate vicinity. The sanitary facilities are very good, clean and well heated. Very spacious shower cubicles. Friendly staff. Practical: Locker system with license plate recognition.

"very nice, small clean facility - We felt very comfortable, even with 2 shepherd dogs we were very welcome! Everything was super clean and well-kept. We were happy to take advantage of the bread roll service! The nearby bathing lake invites you to play and swim, even SUP were to be seen. We would love to come back for a short vacation

We opened our campsite in 2009 and have been running it as a family business ever since. It is idyllically located in the heart of the Lippstadt lake district, just steps away from Lake Alberssee – a popular recreational destination …with a swimming lake, sandy beach, and various water sports. Our site offers modern sanitary facilities, spacious pitches with electricity, a cosy restaurant with a beer garden, and a small shop for your daily needs. Whether you're a family, an active holidaymaker, or simply looking for peace and quiet – everyone will find their favourite spot here, whether to relax in nature or enjoy activities like cycling, swimming, and hiking.
