"Quite ok - The place is very popular, so be sure to make a reservation. In the morning (except Sundays) there are bread roll bags for 2€ (4 wheat rolls)

"Narrow but okay on the lake - + Pitch parceled out, water and electricity directly on site. Access to the bathing lake with sandy beach. Sanitary area somewhat outdated but clean. - Pitches used to the last, you stand close together. Almost no shade anywhere. The pitches consist only of stony ground, no meadows or lawns. We didn't park our car right next to the caravan because it was actually too narrow. We then got a kind of parking ticket on our car. When we didn't see this immediately, we were "kindly" told that we should re-park, the car was then parked right up to 2mm from the awning, because otherwise it would have been on the road. It was also unpleasant that we had to set up our table and chairs right next to a gully, which didn't smell particularly good. Perhaps you could do without a few pitches and create a bit more space for the other pitches. Overall a pretty noisy place.

"Friendly and clean - The site is very well located for excursions along the Bergstrasse - Mannheim, Odenwald, Darmstadt and everything in between is within easy reach. The reception is friendly, the large shepherd dog in front of the desk is absolutely peaceful and harmless. The pitches are not overly large, but quite adequate. The sanitary building is not old, but not brand new either. Cleanliness is definitely guaranteed, it is cleaned several times a day. Of course, it's like everywhere on campsites with contemporaries who have neither education, nor decency or standards. If you don't see it as your job to flush the toilet or clean up after yourself, you may have had a bad childhood or have the wrong attitude.... The site itself doesn't offer any major attractions, the lake is nearby and there is no direct access. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, but the gastronomy is very limited in winter. Dogs are allowed, but cost an inexplicable three euros per day. For what? The internet is now free and worked well for us. We are and were satisfied visitors here.

"Camping without flair - Campsite with small pitches and standard sanitary facilities, clean sanitary facilities. Pitches graveled. In the permanent camping area partly very unkempt. The place lacks flair.

"Short trip to the Bergstrasse in November - We decided to go camping for a few days this year after all. We wanted to visit Heppenheim, Weinheim, etc. and found this very centrally located campsite with its good ratings for sanitary facilities. And rightly so. Some of the pitches are quite small, that's true. However, we don't have a very large caravan, so it was a good fit for us. All pitches for tourist campers have water and waste water directly at the pitch and are close to the wash house. The water was turned off on the pitches in November, but that's understandable and not a problem because of the proximity to the sanitary facilities. The only thing I don't like is that the timer for the ladies' showers continues to run for 7 minutes, even if you turn off the water. The timer for the men's showers is a little shorter, but it does stop. The site is ideal for visiting beautiful places such as Heppenheim, Ladenburg, Weinheim, Bensheim.... TOP suitable. Everything in the immediate vicinity.

"Super well-maintained complex with good excursion options - The campsite mainly has many permanent campers. The available pitches are not particularly large, but are in good condition. Gravelled and with water and electricity connections. Sanitary facilities in excellent condition, nice and warm even in November. The site has a small restaurant. We did not check access to the lake etc. in November.

The pitches on our campsite are all subdivided, and are equiped with electricity-, water-, and sewage-connections. For motorhomes there is a supply- and disposing-station. …Our sanitary constructions are all up-to-date, with big shower- and single washing-cabins, babybath, washingmachine and dryer. From the campsite there is a direct entrance to the swimming area (free of charge), with a lake, beach, big lawn, and a heated swimming pool.
