"Stopover - We only stayed on the site for one night on the way home. The site is spacious and very green. However, the pitches are very sloping, you can't get the car straight. The sanitary facilities are old and need getting used to with a musty smell, but clean. The location of the site is very nice. There is a large reservoir in the immediate vicinity. In October, everything on the site was still open except the pool. But you don't need it at this time of year.

"Florence - We were there for 2 nights to have a full day for Florence. It was a good location for that. It's a shame that you only have a view from very few places, mostly trees block the view, but greenery is nice too.

"Quite neat - Very suitable site for sightseeing in Florence but outdated sanitary facilities and unkempt pitches. Restaurant highly recommended. Swimming pool very nice but swimming caps compulsory. Good shuttle service to the train station

"Ideal CP for tours to Florence and the Mugello/Casentino - We visited this natural site at the beginning of our trip to Tuscany. Pitch on a terraced wooded area with satisfactory facilities. Sanitary facilities are old but clean. Swimming pool and restaurant, approx. 2 km from San Piero a Steve, train and bus connections to Firenze, open all year round. However, the site appears somewhat deserted and neglected in the off-season. The access road is in a precarious condition and could do with some new asphalt.

"Starting point for visits to Florence - Duration of stay: 03.10. - 04.10.2014; Price for motorhome, 2 adults incl. electricity: € 20.00 (day and quiet at night) The campsite near Florence is a perfect starting point for sightseeing in Florence. A free shuttle bus (booking recommended) runs from the campsite to San Piero a Save station during the main tourist season. From there there is an hourly train to Florence. The site, mixed camping/bungalow, has mainly terraced large pitches and is relatively spacious. The sanitary facilities are old but clean. The swimming pool is open in the main tourist season. The restaurant (good value for money) was still open on October 3rd.

" - We spent one night here during our journey to Tuscany. We liked it so much that we stopped off again on our return journey and stayed for a week. As there were no school vacations in Italy, the number of campers on the rather large site was limited. Apart from a few typically loud conversations between local permanent campers, it was idyllically quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are not the most modern but are clean. The swimming pool belonging to the site is very well maintained and invites you to relax. The restaurant belonging to it offers numerous dishes (not quite cheap) In the immediate vicinity is a reservoir, which has bathing places and gastronomic facilities (do not forget bathing shoes - very stony). There is a small store on the site that sells the essentials. If we find ourselves in this area again, we will visit this place again.

The centre of Florence can be easily reached by train (free shuttle service to / from the …station of San Piero a Sieve). Hiking trails directly from the campsite and direct access to the Via degli Dei. Bar, restaurant-pizzeria and small mini-market. Outdoor pool, tennis, table tennis, pool table and children's playground. Masonry apartments and mobile homes from 2 to 6 beds with private bathroom with shower, equipped kitchen, towels and bed linen, heating, air conditioning, parking. Large camping area for campers, caravans and tents. Two groups of sanitary services with free hot water, camper service, chemical toilet, electricity, washing machines and dryers.
