"Condition of the square is completely outdated - Sept/Oct 2023 Good and spacious access. The campsite is signposted on the road. English and German spoken. Reservations are not absolutely necessary at this time (site is/was 30% full). Replies by e-mail are answered. The site is terraced. The camping pitches are located in the upper part. In between there are bungalows. The road is a rumble track. The sanitary facilities are more than outdated (even if the doors have been replaced at some point), but are still clean, there are enough wet cells and equipped with paper. The showers are "excellent" by Italian standards. You can get bread in the market without pre-ordering. The pool is ok. But you need a swimming cap... The nearby highway is more or less perceptible depending on the chosen place....But no problem at night. The price was E 40.- for 2P and Ele. in the NS and for the sanitary quality etc. at the upper limit....

"I don't know - the walk with my 30kilo backpack was unpleasant, not only because of the climb, but rather because of the men who called out to me from their cars, whistled and honked after me or more than unpleasantly patterned my body as they passed me. the sanitary facilities are a disaster, the tiles are falling off the walls, the ceiling is moldy, some chair boxes are missing & often the toilet paper was missing. in the shower there was no way to put things down/hang things up protected from water. it all seems a bit run down and the price...my god. 19,50€ for ONE person with ONE tent. not even in the main session. the bus connection wasn't bad but quite often the buses didn't come at all, were late or just passed me by... I only recommend it for the fireflies.

"Condition - The campsite should be completely renovated. The sanitary facilities have probably not been repaired since they were built. Everything very unkempt. Ideal location for visiting Florence.

"Nice and clean plumbing. City campsite, on busy road, but quiet on the - Beautiful campsite, the road gives a lot of noise, but a little further in the campsite quiet places. Clean, modern sanitary facilities. Ideal to go to Florence by bike, along the beautiful river. We even stayed here longer than planned. Dog friendly.

"Tour through Tuscany - The campsite is laid out in terraces and is easy to reach even with a large motorhome. The pitches are mostly shady and there is certainly something for everyone. We had almost free choice at Whitsun without having to book in advance. Ideal for sightseeing in Florence as you can reach a bus stop in a few minutes on foot. The store has everything you need but that was it. We also treated ourselves to a pizza there in the evening. It was good. Showers & toilets are clean but unfortunately also very outdated. Dogs are welcome. As for the background noise, the campsite towers over the highway on one side. It's not really annoying but it's a constant noise. However, there are also pitches facing in a different direction.
