"Hiking and biking in Tiveden NP and relaxing at a top CP - I usually stay with my self-sufficient camper van in free spaces or on smaller campsites. Camp Tiveden is a relatively large site, but it was an absolutely positive experience, and not just because of its proximity to the beautiful Tiveden National Park.

"Good starting point for hikes - We had a "luxury cabin" on the site with its own shower/toilet and kitchenette. The hut was really well equipped. There was even a ceramic hob. The huts were not too close together.

"Family place - When we arrived, all the official pitches were already occupied, but we were allocated a pitch directly opposite the reception next to the football pitch. The official pitches are more attractive with lots of space, but all without a view of the lake. Lots of tents, the sanitary facilities are super chic and clean, but it takes some getting used to that you have to take your shoes off in the whole sanitary area, even in the toilets.... and above all: the sanitary facilities are too small. Forest in front of the lake, which is quite dense and dark.

"Beautiful CP at the national park - We received a friendly welcome from the operator and were spoken to in German. This campsite is part of rondjezweden - these are campsites that are run by Dutch people in Sweden and are members of rondjezweden. The facilities on the site are very good. There is a kiosk (reception) with moderate prices and a modern wash house, which is very well cleaned. The pitches are large enough and the site facilities (from canoe hire and a great playground to campfires and much more) are particularly popular with children. The site is beautifully secluded and any animal visitors at night should not deter you from visiting the site. I think the nearest supermarket (ICA) was 15 km away. In Tived (3 km) there is a small country store - but it offers the most important things. The self-smoked fish from the owners is highly recommended.

"Super nice - Arrived and despite no reservation was treated very friendly and courteous. Pitch was great and well maintained. The sanitary facilities were first class and clean. The guest is free to choose where to pitch. Everything was great.
