Profile
Der Campingplatz des Motorsportclubs Straubing wurde 1997 in der Nähe der Donau im Stadtgebiet von Straubing eröffnet und ist alljährlich von März bis Oktober in Betrieb. Insgesamt bietet das 3 Hektar große Gelände Platz für 74 Parzellen, die alle mit … einem Stromanschluss ausgestattet sind. In dem teils behindertengerecht gestalteten Sanitärgebäude befinden sich unter anderem Einzelwaschkabinen, Duschen und ein Babywickelraum. Ebenso haben Campinggäste Zugang zu einer Waschmaschine und einem Wäschetrockner. Während sich Kinder gerne auf dem Spielplatz austoben, treffen sich die Erwachsenen zu einem Match auf dem Beachvolleyballfeld oder bei schlechtem Wetter im Aufenthaltsraum. Wer Hunger hat, kann im Platzrestaurant aus einer kleinen Karte wählen. Der nächste Lebensmittelladen liegt etwa 500 Meter entfernt. Urlauber verbringen ihre Tage gerne mit einem Bummel durch die historische Altstadt Straubings oder in der Badelandschaft AQUAtherm. Ebenso sind ein Golfplatz sowie Ostbayerns einziger Zoo von diesem Campingplatz aus rasch erreicht.
