"Good but too expensive - A sensibly planned facility, water, electricity, sanitary facilities all in the immediate vicinity of the pitches. Typical for a public site - you save on staff. We experienced a very dedicated receptionist, always the same from morning until late at night. However, the maintenance of the campsite is probably entrusted to external service providers, including the sanitary facilities. You can tell by the fact that nobody is around at cleaning times ... Recommended for one or more overnight stays, if it weren't for the prices. the restaurant.

"Neat place close to the city - The pitch was ideal for a visit to Straubing (well worth seeing!) and excursions into the surrounding area. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. Somewhat annoying were the snakes in the evening (unavoidable due to the proximity to the river).

"Very nicely located and clean campsite - A very nice campsite close to the town. Very quiet location. We were able to drive onto the campsite during our lunch break, the barrier was open, and choose our pitch. We had made an enquiry by phone beforehand. Very friendly staff.

Profile

Der Campingplatz des Motorsportclubs Straubing wurde 1997 in der Nähe der Donau im Stadtgebiet von Straubing eröffnet und ist alljährlich von März bis Oktober in Betrieb. Insgesamt bietet das 3 Hektar große Gelände Platz für 74 Parzellen, die alle mit …einem Stromanschluss ausgestattet sind. In dem teils behindertengerecht gestalteten Sanitärgebäude befinden sich unter anderem Einzelwaschkabinen, Duschen und ein Babywickelraum. Ebenso haben Campinggäste Zugang zu einer Waschmaschine und einem Wäschetrockner. Während sich Kinder gerne auf dem Spielplatz austoben, treffen sich die Erwachsenen zu einem Match auf dem Beachvolleyballfeld oder bei schlechtem Wetter im Aufenthaltsraum. Wer Hunger hat, kann im Platzrestaurant aus einer kleinen Karte wählen. Der nächste Lebensmittelladen liegt etwa 500 Meter entfernt. Urlauber verbringen ihre Tage gerne mit einem Bummel durch die historische Altstadt Straubings oder in der Badelandschaft AQUAtherm. Ebenso sind ein Golfplatz sowie Ostbayerns einziger Zoo von diesem Campingplatz aus rasch erreicht.
