"Quiet and beautifully situated campsite in the southern Black Forest - This year we weren't traveling with our caravan, instead we had a seasonal pitch at the Steingrubenhof. The campsite is in a quiet location above St. Peter, about 20 minutes by car from Freiburg. The site is well maintained and the sanitary building is modern and clean, the owners are helpful and friendly. The focus is on permanent and seasonal pitches, but there are also a few tourist pitches. There are no shopping facilities directly on the site, but you can do your shopping in St. Peter, where there is a well-stocked supermarket with a bakery. There are also a few restaurants in St. Peter. The location is ideal for various leisure activities such as hiking, mountain biking, various excursions (Kandel, Zweribach waterfalls, monastery in St. Peter, Freiburg, etc.). I felt comfortable and can recommend the place!

"A very good campsite, also for relaxing! - We saw the campsite on a short trip and liked it immediately. The owners, both very helpful and super nice. The location and view are unique, very beautiful. The sanitary building is quite new and always clean. In the low season (end of August) no problems with the use, always free showers and toilets. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

"Nice location, tight conditions - Very nice location, great view, unfortunately, although remote, not really quiet. The road is probably audible. Sanitary very clean, not brand new, but sufficient. Restaurant on site. The space conditions in general are very tight, the individual places as well and without parcelling.

"The perfect place for a great vacation - We stayed at the site over the turn of the year and everything was perfect. From the well-prepared reception (quick and without a lot of paperwork) to a great pitch and clean and well-equipped sanitary facilities. Our dog was accepted without any problems and the leisure facilities around the site were more than sufficient for us. Perfect, we will be back. Unfortunately, we couldn't try out the restaurant on site, as it was closed. What we think is a very big advantage of the place, quick ways to the supermarket about 15 minutes and to the town center also 15 minutes.

"for a visit to the Black Forest - We were guests of the Cpl. for a week in June. The site offers every comfort for campers and overall makes a tidy, well-kept impression. The cleaning of the sanitary area should be better organized. Overall, the site is highly recommended. The ACSI-Card is accepted, WLAN costs 2,- Euro per day (f.7 days 6,- Euro)

"Good camping to move into the Black Forest - Great camping to visit in the Black Forest. Public transport are perfect and the bus stop is just a few minutes walk from the campsite. Great to visit the nearby villages, we also went to Titisee (with a combination of buses and trains). The campsite is very clean, in a wonderful location with forest all around. It is very quiet and relaxing. Like many campsites in these areas, it isn't close to any attractions and there isn't much to do in the evening, but at the entrance there is a nice restaurant where you can go for dinner. The owners are kind, but the reception is open only for a few hours in the day and even in these moments you will not always find someone (you will have to call them and they will arrive).
