"Whitsun weekend - We used the long weekend for a short trip to the Elbe. The CP is very large, the lack of parcelling has the disadvantage that power cables are lying around everywhere and become stopper traps in the dark. The staff are very nice and helpful. On a long WE, more cleaning in the sanitary building would be desirable.

"Stay July 2024 - We have been to the campsite twice so far with our motorhome. Very friendly staff. Sanitary facilities, a playground and a snack bar are very good. A very nice little beach. We will be back.

"Small but nice - We spent our first Wowa vacation there in April to see if we had everything we needed. And we are thrilled with the place. The staff are super friendly, the snack bar is super tasty (but small), the playground is ideal and very well maintained. And the small amusement park (with rides and attractions) is also great fun for the little campers. The sanitary facilities are good and mostly clean (there are big piglets everywhere, PITY). If everyone used a brush, many things would be easier. Otherwise, the site makes a really nice impression. Lots of greenery, great pine trees and chatty permanent campers. Highly recommended.

"We felt very comfortable! - We stayed at the campsite for 5 days. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and the site briefing was also very warm. A small electricity problem was solved immediately, we were provided with a cable drum. The campsite's own snack bar was always well attended, the chips and currywurst tasted great. The lake is not very big, but beautiful. Due to the fact that the beach is lower than the actual campsite, it wasn't really noisy, even when the beach was full. There is a swimming island in the middle of the lake, which is always a highlight. The sanitary facilities were clean and you can shower for 5 minutes for 1 euro. You don't need shower tokens, as already mentioned, the machine takes euro coins and only starts counting when you turn on the water. Mucky's Fahrrad- und Bikertreff is about 1.5 km from the campsite. We ate there twice. It was incredibly tasty, the service was always cheerful and friendly despite the heat (37 degrees) and the busy location. Lake Balaton is free and can be fished without a fishing permit. We caught pike one evening. We will definitely be back and are really looking forward to it. Best wishes to the campsite team as well as Heike, Manu, Klaus, Erik, Beate, Benny and Julia. "Good campsite with a nice lake - We stayed here for two nights and were able to enjoy the tranquillity of the site and the proximity to Magdeburg. Arriving and relaxing seems to be the order of the day. We had forgotten our adapter for the power box - no problem at all. After five minutes, an adapter was procured, borrowed, free of charge and with a smile - I like that! The sanitary facilities were good, showers for a token or €1. We personally don't think that's in keeping with the times - make the overnight stay €1/person more expensive, done! The shower time is generous, but quote from an older lady: "You're not allowed in the shower yet, my hot water is still running" You can do without it and you don't need it! The lake is clear and warm - a morning swim is a pleasure. French fries and currywurst are okay in terms of price and quality. Result: We would come back again.

"good place to pass through - We stayed at the campsite for one night in July 2017. When we arrived shortly after 6pm on a Friday evening, the reception was not manned and the huge gate in front of the entrance put us off at first. We then dialed the posted number and a lady came straight away, let us in and assigned us a pitch. The site is located by a small bathing lake between spruce trees. The sanitary building is in good condition. There is a large playground next to the sanitary building.

Der Campingplatz ist ca. 15 Hektar groß mit eigenem See und Sandstrand in direkter Nähe zum Radweg R1 in einem großen Landschaftsschutzgebiet gelegen. Er besitzt 50 Touristenstellplätze und ca. 250 Dauercampingstellplätze sowie 4 Bungalows und 9 Schlaffässer. Es gibt keine …Parzellierungen, so dass eine schöne private ungezwungene Atmosphäre herrscht. Direkt am See befindet sich ein Spielplatz und ein Imbiss. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Ausflugsziele mit dem Auto, dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuß zu erkunden. Ein Besuch im Märchenkaffee oder eine Erkundung unter Wasser in der Taucherstation liegt ganz in der Nähe.
