Klemens P.July 20254.0Klemens P.July 2025AdvantagesConvenient location Staff is very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are clean.NegativesGuests drive too fast across the square. The gastronomy could be improved. Poor price - performance ratioSmall but niceWe chose this campsite for an intermediate overnight stay. The CP is well located, close to the highway. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Also suitable for dog owners, plenty of opportunity to walk dogs. The morning bread roll van is a real hit. Really great bakery rolls that are worth their price.Automatically translated.2 campers found this rating helpful. - 5.0FMFranz M.September 20245.0FMFranz M.September 2024AdvantagesBeautiful places, quiet, clean, friendly staff, centrally located to the Allgäu sights, small bathing lake, reasonably pricedNegativesNoneVery nice placeI have been visiting the site 1-3 times a year since around 2017. Be the first! - 4.0AKAndreas K.May 20244.0AKAndreas K.May 2024AdvantagesSufficiently large pitches with plenty of shade. Electricity is included. Very clean and quiet location.NegativesNothing really negative available.Nice campsite with a good locationWe visited over Ascension Day. It's easy to get to the site as it's just one kilometer from the freeway exit.
Despite very high occupancy this weekend, it was quiet on the site. The team is very friendly and helpful. There is a playground for children at the entrance. There is also a barbecue area with... a hut and a separate meadow for tents.
The guests - especially the numerous permanent campers - were always friendly to each other. We did not notice the negative impression of another visitor mentioned above.
The pitches are large enough so that we had no problems with neighbors with our Falti + towing vehicle. Electricity is included in the price for normal vacation campers. Water taps are also available at regular intervals on the site.
The sanitary facilities are in a central building, to which you have to walk a bit from the rear pitches. The facilities themselves made a tidy and clean impression and are adequate for the size of the site.
A local bakery has a stall in front of the entrance where you can get really fresh and tasty pastries in the morning.
All in all, a campsite that we would like to visit again.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful. - 4.0
Hans-Peter W.April 20244.0Hans-Peter W.April 2024AdvantagesThe place is easy to reach, the location is nice and it's quiet at night. The bakery is great, fresh bread rolls every day - homemade, not from the factory. The bathing lake is great for the summerNegativesMany a permanent camper who goes "big Maxe" because there was too much beer involved. The path to the sanitary building from the rear pitches is very long, so don't let anything get in the wayA beautiful campsite in the foothills of the AlpsThe site is easy to reach from the highway. The pitches are large and most of them are fairly level, with a choice of sun or shade.
On the other side of the road is a bathing lake which is certainly well frequented in summer.
There is a small bistro with the normal camping offer, and fresh bread rolls... from a real baker are available daily from 7 am. The Allgäu distillery is within walking distance, where you can take a guided tour and, of course, taste and buy. Kempten is not far away and Immenstadt, Sonthofen and Oberstdorf can also be reached quickly by public transport.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful. - 5.0

There are no shopping facilities nearby, but there is a bread roll service on site. Kempten and the Allgäu offer plenty of excursion destinations suitable for children. Herbert G.May 20225.0Herbert G.May 2022AdvantagesPitch was exactly in sight of the parking lotNegativesHave not found anyVery quiet and manageable campsiteWe were here for the weekend with the grandchildren. A super place. Very quiet location, playground for small children with swings, climbing frame, sandpit and lots of space for scooters and bikes. The campsite also offers a sensational bread roll service from 7am to 10am. The baked goods are first class.... The restaurant also has a small menu, but the food on offer is very good. Our grandchildren absolutely loved the hamburgers. We would love to come back.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful. - 4.0BGBeatrix G.July 20214.0BGBeatrix G.July 2021AdvantagesUncomplicated check in Good location to the lake Close to the highwayNegativesFor us there was nothing to complain aboutNice campsite with enough spaceNice campsite with beautiful old trees.
Plenty of space on the pitches
We were passing through with our dog and 2 children.
We really liked the proximity to the lake and the quick connection to the highway
We could easily go out to eat with our dog on the restaurant terrace in the evening.
There is a... playground for the children at the start of the campsite.
We were able to walk our dog around the lake. I don't understand the bad reviews from other dog owners.
There is a stand at the beginning of the campsite with fresh bread rolls every morning from 7.00 to 11.00 am. The selection of rolls and bread was great. We found the different rolls very tasty.
We would love to come again.Automatically translated.3 campers found this rating helpful. - 4.0MPMichael P.August 20204.0MPMichael P.August 2020AdvantagesA very clean campsite that is run as a family business. Even in Covid-19 times, all hygiene measures were implemented in an exemplary manner. The site is not very large and therefore also suitable for families with children. There is a nice playground and a barbecue hut.NegativesThe daily bread roll sale at a local bakery is not recommended. Although the rolls are visually very appealing, their consistency is rather elastic and not crispy. The transit travelers who only stayed one night were a little annoying at times.Beautiful campsite not far from Lake ÖschleseeThe campsite is not far from the A 980, but there was no noise. It is pleasantly quiet at night. The Öschlesee can be reached in 5 minutes on foot after crossing a pedestrian tunnel under the highway. This lake is very good for swimming or stand-up paddling. We would love to come back!Automatically translated.2 campers found this rating helpful.
- 5.0RGReiner G.June 20205.0RGReiner G.June 2020AdvantagesGreat for bike tours or motorcycle excursions in the mountains.NegativesNone foundNice place for vacation and transitThe very conveniently located campsite near the highway is suitable both for an overnight stopover and for a longer stay. Although the site was fully booked during the Whitsun vacations, it is very quiet. You can hear almost nothing from the road. Although there were lots of children, it was very quiet,... both in the evening and in the morning. The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly and were correspondingly clean. Not so heavily used due to Corona. A large playground, a barbecue area with a fixed barbecue, fire pit for campfires including free wood, seating (also covered) and a separate football pitch with artificial turf round off the whole thing. The free WiFi throughout the site is also great. Everything looks very well-kept. The large tent meadow, which was not allowed to be used due to Corona, is also very nice. The lake is only a few minutes away. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Conclusion: We will be back!Automatically translated.2 campers found this rating helpful.

Gerd F.September 20194.0Gerd F.September 2019AdvantagesConveniently located, well-kept grounds, beautiful pitches, friendly reception, good free WLANNegativescharacterized by permanent campersWell-kept campsite not far from the highwayOn the way home from the south, we stayed at this site, which is conveniently located near the highway, for the second time since 2015. The site looks very well maintained. There is a restaurant on the site. Since this year, bread rolls have been available in the morning from a vending cart on site. We had dinner in the "Seerrose" restaurant, which offers good food at reasonable prices.Automatically translated.2 campers found this rating helpful. - 3.0GNGuido N.August 20193.0GNGuido N.August 2019AdvantagesProximity to Kempten Near the lakeNegativeswe did not find anySmall nice place to explore the surroundingsThis was our 2nd time here. Reserved pitch was free and could be used straight away. Main path is now paved. SUPER !!! Place is characterized by permanent campers and transients. Sanitary clean and in my opinion fully o.K. That you can not go for a walk with the dogs, I can not understand the pre-evaluation.... Dogs must be kept on a lead at the lake and are not allowed to swim but are otherwise permitted. You can also go on various circular walks in and around Sulzberg with dogs. Restaurant with new tenant offers tempting dishes on the menu but our choice (including duck schnitzel) was very disappointing in terms of taste and price. Too bad. We'd rather go back to the Gasthof Seerose in Öschle or the Hirschen in Sulzberg more often.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful.

Thomas B.June 20192.0Thomas B.June 2019AdvantagesRestaurantNegativesCleanliness and maintenance of the course!!!Very disappointing!Hello everyone, my conclusion after our short vacation: - Sanitary facilities "unkempt" - With dog no possibility to go for a walk except through the place and that is not appreciated by the permanent campers. The lake itself is FORBIDDEN for dogs ??? - Place very unkempt - big praise to the restaurant that the guys run very well despite the lack of staff.
