"Super location for hikers, super sanitary facilities - We came here for hiking and it's perfect for that. Very clean and modern sanitary facilities. A nice little bar with refreshing drinks and snacks. We will be back.

"Experiences from 14.06.2023 with Roberto - Roberto was extremely unfriendly, so we left again. We stayed here in March and got to know Andrea at reception. He was super friendly, nice and helpful. In my opinion, you should treat paying camping guests as friendly as Andrea did. Roberto behaved impossibly when we arrived today, so we didn't stay and left again. In my opinion, Roberto scares off camping guests like us on arrival with his unfriendly behavior. Roberto certainly doesn't make you feel welcome at reception. The campsite was almost completely empty today, which in my opinion is no wonder with such a reception, although we had already sent all our details by e-mail. So we will definitely not be coming here again because of Roberto. Barbara and Reiner

In the summer months, the Malga Ciapela area is a paradise for outdoor lovers, with countless opportunities for hiking, via ferratas, exploring ancient villages, and discovering natural wonders. A scenic trail starts right from the campsite and leads to the Ombretta Valley, home to the geographical center of the Dolomites, nestled at the foot of the majestic south face of the Marmolada. Just a few kilometers away lies the village of Sottoguda, officially recognized as one of the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.” Perfectly located for ski enthusiasts, the campsite is just steps away from the Marmolada cable car – Move to the Top – and the connection to Arabba, right in the heart of the thrilling slopes of the Sellaronda.
