"Rating - The location is ideal, close to the train station and the bus route, and the option to pick up breakfast rolls and meals is great! The quality is also excellent!

"Family campsite - The Markelfingen campsite is to be recommended. Everything there, food very good, washrooms clean, dogs can be brought along, you can only go into the water with them next door by the stream. Child-friendly, therefore louder! Great for swimming beginners, paddling in every respect! If everyone took a piece of paper in their hand and cleaned their used pool or OO it would be even better!

"Vacation 30.05.-03.06.2026 - Very clean sanitary facilities, high praise to the cleaning staff. The reception staff are always happy to help with any questions or problems. There is also plenty of laughter. Excellent restaurant and great, friendly staff. We have been coming to this campsite for years and always enjoy it. The campsite manager is great.

"Camping Easter at Lake Constance with a dog - We stayed at the campsite for the first time at Easter this year. 2 persons, 1 dog, Euro 58,-/overnight stay. The location on the lake, we were front row premium pitch, is really wonderful. There is a train stop right next to the campsite. Together with the Bodensee Card (included in the visitor's tax), you can of course travel perfectly to Radolfzell or Constance, for example, as the train on this line stops every half hour. In my opinion, however, what is completely wrong with a 4-star campsite and the above-mentioned price is that the sanitary facilities are not heated in the evening and there is no hot water, at least in the evening. Maybe OK in summer, but at the beginning of April at two degrees plus ... I also asked at reception after the first cold shower and it was explained to me that it was just a fault with the heating. However, it wasn't much better the following days in the evening at around 8pm. To describe the water in the shower as "lukewarm" is already well-intentioned. Furthermore, I think water should also be available at the pitch in this price category. But it's a matter of opinion, personally I have to say that I didn't mind so much. And finally, I think WLAN could also be included at this price, but it only costs an additional 1 euro per day. Conclusion: For 4 stars and this price, we've had much more comfort at other campsites in this price range. Overall, however, the great location and the connection to the train make it well worth a visit.

Camping Markelfingen is located in Baden-Württemberg, right in the town of Markelfingen. You’ll find pitches with or without shade, some marked and some more natural. The campsite is just a short walk from a beautiful pebble beach. If you don’t …have a tent, you can also rent a hiking cabin. Your dog is welcome – both in high and low season, as long as it’s kept on a leash. If you enjoy being active, there are great cycling routes nearby. And don’t worry – you don’t always have to cook for yourself. There’s a restaurant on-site with a wide selection. Fresh bread is available in the morning, and you can access the internet with your own laptop on most parts of the campsite (80–100%).
