"Once and not again - We don't even know where to start. The comparative price of €26 including electricity advertised by the campsite on this page is simply a lie. We paid 35 € WITHOUT electricity. Electricity would have been 5 € on top if we had needed it. Only two of the 5 sanitary buildings can be used by tourists, the other three are in areas exclusively for permanent campers. One of the two sanitary buildings is getting on in years and is neglected in terms of cleaning and is correspondingly dirty. At times there was no soap or towels available. The showers are designed in such a way that the change of clothes is guaranteed to be wet after the shower (no hooks or similar available). The water temperature is sometimes not even suitable for rinsing (cold). Slippery floors. To empty the cassette toilet, there is only a paid machine (2€), possibly very far away from the pitch. Don't be fooled by the name "Wirtshaus zur Kratzmühle". This is an "Italian restaurant". The pizza doesn't really look appetizing and the pasta on offer is, according to the taste, made from poor-tasting packet sauces. The adjacent kebab snack bar unfortunately offers too few seats. We recommend going to one of the neighboring villages for dinner. Electricity columns sometimes very far away. Water tap where we stood only in the wash house. Beautifully situated in the countryside. Bread roll prices OK for a campsite. Reception and kiosk staff always friendly and helpful. Altmühltal cycle path very well developed and signposted. Our conclusion: Suitable for a one-night stopover. We would not want to spend our annual vacation here.

"Short vacation - We were with our caravan (family with 2 children 9 + 6) for a long weekend on the site. Arrival was easy, just drive up, choose your pitch and you're good to go. And as soon as the reception is open (low season 08-10 am), just report there. The pitches were paved and fairly level. Water was logically turned off at this time of year. The sanitary facilities were heated and clean. We can only recommend the site and will definitely visit again in the summer months.

"Campsite, supposedly with a great panoramic view, wifi and satellite! - I don't know where to start! After 16 days on Lake Garda without reception, my husband chose this secluded pitch because of wifi and sat. on the pitch advertised with a panoramic view (overgrown with bushes) so no view of the valley, the wifi worked modestly and of course there was no reception for the TV due to the trees behind us! After I pointed this out to the staff, I got the answer, I don't understand that, the reception is shown as green here! We were only on site for 2 nights and the toilets were checked on 11.09. Our arrival was on 12.09. There was a toilet in the toilet room with the glasses folded up, in a very unsightly splashed (after digestion) condition and there was toilet paper in the corner! The taps would have liked to see a cloth! The showers splashed up to the door so that the cabin and things got a bit wet! Until our departure on 14.09. the rooms were not even checked or cleaned! We are of the opinion that for the price of a comfort pitch this is an unreasonable thing and since the staff (very friendly) did not react to our shortcomings, I would like to vent my anger in this way. I'm actually like that, talking people can be helped, which unfortunately did not apply in this case! We are talking about a 4 star place! In the lower area everything looked very nice and well maintained, I must also mention that!

"Not too much + not too little - Not too much and not too little...(like almost everywhere...complainers, good critics, with or without brains). Sandy beach could be a little BROADER for 900. (At the small mini lake (private) everything is FORBIDDEN... except 1 -3 anglers ( German/forbidden/ all have to go to MALLE/ there rip-off with 12.- fries, 1/4 beer,

"Very expensive and getting on in years - I wouldn't go there again because it's too expensive. Two days for 74 euros is a lot of money. 4.50 euros for electricity is too much. If everything else had been right we would have gritted our teeth and put up with all the money. But the sanitary house is getting on in years. Blind mirrors underneath, stiff lever mixers. Showers with very little water pressure. And not really hot. Construction noise all day. Food opposite was not really good. Two salads that were under water. The restaurant is not part of the campsite, but rounds off the bad impression we got. Conclusion once and not again.

Das Gelände bietet sowohl schattige als auch sonnige Stellplätze an. 5 Sanitäranlagen sind ausgestattet mit Duschen, Waschkabinen, Toiletten und verfügen außerdem über eine behindertengerechte Sanitäreinrichtung. Zwei Babyräume mit …Babybad und Wickeltisch sind ebenso vorhanden wie Koch-, Wasch- und Spülmöglichkeiten. Darüber hinaus sind Bäder eingerichtet, die für die Dauer des Aufenthaltes gemietet werden können. Ein zusätzlicher Ruheraum mit Massagemöglichkeit lädt zur Entspannung ein. Für die Gäste ist neben einem Minimarkt auch eine Gaststätte mit Biergarten eingerichtet. Der Internetzugang ist auf dem Gelände über WLAN möglich. Ein großer Kinderspielplatz mit einem Volleyballfeld, Tischtennisplatten, Bolzplatz, Kicker und einem Minigolfplatz sorgen für Abwechslung bei den jungen Gästen. Nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt lockt ein Badesee mit einem 2 km langen Strand Wasserratten zum Schwimmen, Sonnen und Rudern an. Eine Vielzahl an Radwanderwegen durch das Altmühltal und das vielfältige Pflanzen- und Tiervorkommen lädt die ganze Familie zu Entdeckungstouren ein.
