"Very nice location, great groundskeeper! - Tranquillity is the top priority here. Located directly on the Lahn. Top cycling. Sanitary very old, but well maintained. Shopping possibility Rewemarkt 6km. Bakery 3km.

"Partly in need of renovation but friendly groundskeeper and lots of peace and quiet - The site is beautifully secluded and quiet. It is not very crowded, probably because most people are drawn to the 4* site just a few hundred meters away. The sanitary facilities on the site urgently need to be renovated. There is a lamp hanging down at the barbecue area. A cover is missing from the light switch in the men's sanitary area. All not really good, especially if you are there with children. Some corners should be tidied up then the place would look a lot better. It's a shame that so many opportunities are missed which could be eliminated/improved with little effort

"Ingenious, simple & quiet, perfect! - An absolutely brilliant campsite located directly on the cycle path from Cölbe to Biedenkopf, every little thing has been thought through and the campsite warden is both very friendly and helpful.

"Old, but ok - We (59/66 years old) spent four days at the Kernbach campsite. The groundsman/operator was very nice. The sanitary facilities were very old, but clean. Electricity only with tokens, so always keep an eye on it otherwise the fridge is off.

"Simple campsite - We stayed at this campsite in February as it is open all year round. A good location for winter sports in Biedenkopf and sightseeing in Marburg. The gas supply was flawless, as we also had high consumption at up to -15 degrees. Unfortunately there are no other supply options. Electricity costs 50 cents /kwh as chips. A playground is available. Some plots were very dilapidated, the sanitary facilities were old but superficially clean. Only the smell was not pleasant.
