Located on Lake Constance, Supermarket with everything you need Fresh rolls and delicious pastries Friendly staff Clean and spacious restrooms
Negatives
Very narrow access road with no waiting area,
Good
It's a simple campground with a narrow access road. The sites are just barely large enough for a 7.52-meter-long trailer; there’s also room for an awning. You park your car right on the site. The campground is quiet and has direct access to Lake Constance. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at our site. Two vehicles cannot pass each other on the access road.

Lake Constance Showers Toilets Restaurant
Negatives
Garbage container Site regulations Site prices Reception
Not really recommended
Dumpsters stuffed full, you feel like you're on a landfill site.
The people who stay only 1 night, crash their vehicles around the playground, the access road half parked. Then this place works together with a platform, the prices you get from the platform do not match the prices of this campsite at... all. There was only the answer from the reception:" what is Holidu, what is that supposed to be, I don't know. "
Nobody observes the site rules there either, everyone rides around on a motorcycle or similar at any time of day. According to the site rules, no e-scooters etc. are allowed, every 2nd person drives around on this site. Then there are 2 washing machines and a dryer... which I personally find too little for the size of the campsite.
The supermarket also makes its OWN PANTRY PRICES... also very questionable. We have been to many campsites but we have never experienced anything like this.

Advantages
Sanitary facilities were good and clean
Negatives
Very small pitches Cluttered campsite Camping store very limited Very large and crowded Many dirty and poorly maintained permanent sites Distance to sanitary building very large: only one building for such a large campsite
4 days was too long
Very small driveway. Oncoming traffic required one to back up. Very crowded, full and hut on top of each other. Small places. Sanitary facilities although nice and clean, but only one building in the middle so far to walk. Pebble beach at the bottom lake not maintained lots of branches and garbage. For me not worth 3 or 4 stars as advertised.

Advantages
The friendliness of the gentleman who sold us a coffee in the morning.
Negatives
Very narrow driveway - no parking space to register, you are always in the way - spaces for second vehicles or vehicles that have no space on the pitch are occupied by campers - there is a lot of garbage next to the full containers at the garbage collection point.
Arrived and departed on the same day
We asked for a pitch by email and specified the type of vehicle and caravan with total length. We were assured that something would always be available. When we arrived there in the morning on June 10, 2023, the gentleman at reception said "soo big!" We referred him to the email. Then we were told to... call again at 12.00 noon, as there were supposedly 50 spaces available. But we couldn't park on the site because everything, even the parking spaces for visitors and the second spaces for campers were completely full with people camping there. We had to park in a parking lot diagonally across the street, which was charged for. At 12.00 noon we went back to the site. We were given a number. There wouldn't even have been room for our caravan with awning. We would have had to park our van in the paid parking lot. The parking lots for this purpose were all full of campers. He couldn't offer us any other space. If he had told us at 8.00 a.m. that nothing would be available for us, we would have looked around for another campsite.
As we hadn't asked at the other campsites, we didn't get a pitch at Lake Constance and there was none in sight. After a long search and hours of phone calls, we drove home frustrated at 5 p.m. that same day.

Advantages
Location on Lake Constance, large sanitary area, supermarket with everything you need
Negatives
too simple restaurant on the square narrow access road, no waiting area, too far away from the electricity connection
good location on the lake, but narrow pitches
It is a down-to-earth, simple campsite with clean but narrow access roads. A supermarket with everything you need and a restaurant with simple meals.
The pitches dry quickly even when it rains. WLAN is only available in the reception area.
The friendliness of the staff could be improved. The entrance... area and the driveway are very narrow, with arriving and departing vehicles the Caos does not remain out. On some pitches, the power connection can be 35 m away, which is no longer VDE-compliant from an electrical point of view with normal connection cables. The advantage is the gravel beach directly on the lake.

Advantages
Sanitary building partly as good as new
Negatives
Very small pitches, electricity according to consumption, depending on pitch location far to the center or lake
We've never had such a small pitch before
We've never had such a small pitch before, the caravan (6.60 m) didn't fit parallel to the path, so it only went in lengthways. Awning in front and the pitch was full in width. Directly in front of the tent were bushes that separated the plot from the neighbor. The car just fitted in front of the caravan... and tent and now the whole area was full. It was no longer possible to see or be seen.
The pitch was quite at the end of the site and so the way to the center (store, sanitary facilities), which was at the entrance, was a little further.
The area around the center was not very attractive, an old refrigeration unit, a matching drinks vending machine and overflowing garbage containers rounded off the partly shabby appearance.
We didn't visit the restaurant, long-time guests advised us not to.
The access to Lake Constance is good and also very suitable for swimming. You should only wear bathing shoes.
Access to the campsite is an adventure, as there is virtually no passing traffic. It doesn't get any better on the campsite, the paths are very narrow and long caravans or larger motorhomes have their difficulties. As every cyclist does what they want, maximum attention is required.
Lake Constance is certainly a beautiful area, but in terms of traffic it is a disaster. The only connection is the B31, which is permanently full and you are constantly stuck in traffic jams. Before Hagnau it is always 3-4 km from both sides.

Advantages
Direct access to the lake, beautiful view over the lake and the mountains from the beach, nice staff
Negatives
Sanitary building dirty and moldy, completely overcrowded
Why 4 stars????
Very small plots, motorhome with awning extended, you are already on the border to the neighboring plot. Electricity and water far away from the pitches. The sanitary building is an imposition, dirty and moldy. The cleaner is on duty all day, but hopelessly overwhelmed, dirt and mold everywhere. Especially... bad, the disabled showers, the shower curtain moldy up to 1.5 meters high, after 3 requests it was cleaned, but was still moldy, we actually expected a replacement, the specified shower stool was a plastic garden chair, at the level of the trash cans and the dirt you could see very well that was not cleaned daily, just disgusting.
The road to the campsite is a disaster, as there are always campers waiting for a free pitch, there is always a collapse, because oncoming traffic is not possible. Overall, the place was completely overcrowded and that in pandemic times, hygiene and distance rules cannot be observed. Old trees, which provide shade, but also make satellite reception impossible, but there are very nice permanent campers where you can connect to the satellite system. If the site operators would focus more on quality instead of quantity, the Iriswiese would be worth a recommendation, as we found it, we can only advise against it, we would like to come back to Lake Constance, but no longer to this campsite

Sanitary facilities unfortunately not really clean, pitches very small, mask requirement was not observed despite signs on the doors
Beautiful nature, small places, good with SUP
The beautiful view made up for a lot. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were not very clean. Lots of families on the site as permanent campers - all very friendly. The pitches are very small, fine with a motorhome, but if you have a caravan it's difficult with a car. The small supermarket has the essentials, so it's perfectly fine. Our conclusion - ok for a few days but don't have to come again.

As always very satisfied, can't understand why anyone would complain that there are too few sanitary buildings. This is very spacious, lots and lots of toilets, wash cubicles, washbasins, everything sufficiently available and clean. You don't need a transponder and, above all, no extra shower tokens. Dog is also very happy here, only the stone beach is not so good for walking, but I love the stones and am happy to put up with that

Again and again
Even though it was cramped on the pitch this year, we felt comfortable again! The staff are nice and friendly and the sanitary facilities are clean! Although it is a long way from some of the pitches! Somewhat few water points, u. Sometimes long distances to the electricity box (cable reels are available at reception)! But otherwise a place to feel good! Always happy to return!

Very narrow single-lane access road, too few sanitary facilities
Narrow access road, long distances to the sanitary building
On arrival, the access road was blocked. If two caravans meet in the long narrow driveway, one has to back up. The campsite has only one sanitary building. Depending on the pitch, a bicycle is highly recommended. There are no electricity boxes anywhere on the site. Long cables (50m) are sometimes required,... but can be borrowed there. There is also a lack of water points and sinks. However, the staff at the campsite are very helpful and accommodating. Whether we will go there again is questionable.

Narrow one-lane access road, narrow lanes on the square, orientation plan somewhat confusing...
Despite the narrow driveway...Tipi - Tipi....!
Medium-sized, quiet campsite with very well-kept sanitary facilities, nice and completely uncomplicated operators and a cozy restaurant with a small grocery store. We were here for a short weekend break and felt very comfortable. Only the access roads to and on the site are a bit narrow but manageable. Direct access to the lake, clean pebble beach. WLAN is a bit poor.

Advantages
Directly on the lake, plenty of shade, very clean sanitary facilities, well-stocked supermarket. Directly on the Lake Constance cycle path
Negatives
None, unless you are bothered by falling leaves from deciduous trees and don't know that oak trees shed their acorns ;-))))
Great place right on the lake
The site is shaded by large trees and has direct access to Lake Constance with a slipway and private beach. The pitches are sufficient. Our caravan, for example, is 7.50 m long including drawbar. Awning with a depth of 2.50 m and vehicle on site. The sanitary facilities are extremely well maintained.... The staff and management are very, very friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves good home-style cooking that is filling and tastes delicious. The supermarket is well stocked. Site highly recommended

Short and sweet
The campsite is nice, medium-sized and sometimes a bit cramped, unless you arrive with a tent. However, anyone who has a driver's license and can handle their motorhome or camper van should have no problems. The staff are friendly and helpful. The small store had everything we needed. We didn't try the... restaurants. The pebble beach is a short walk away. There is a designated area for nudists and dogs. Only the access road is a little narrow when vehicles meet.....

The cramped conditions on the pitch are an imposition
Rating for Iriswiese Kressbronn am Bodensee
Again, the entrance was far too narrow and stretched across the entire site. When we arrived at our allocated pitch, we had to work out how and where we could settle down because everything was far too small and we got claustrophobic - it was simply an imposition! To get four stars from the ADAC for this place, one of them must have been totally drunk!!! Never again this place .... because there are certainly better ones on Lake Constance!

great for cycling tours, except for Whitsun the place is quiet, dogs are welcome,

Beach littered and full of driftwood, very noisy over Pentecost, no wifi on the pitch, only free of charge after registration
Beautiful starting point for cycling tours
The place is beautiful, but the beach (gravel) is unfortunately full of driftwood and garbage. If you go on vacation there at Whitsun, you have to expect very loud noise from a nearby club party every year (until 2 o'clock at night). The police do nothing. Sanitary buildings are very clean. The groundsman is a bit overworked, works in the pub in the evening and registration. The playground is very nice for children.

Advantages
Location, cleanliness
Negatives
Narrow, single-lane access to the campsite, narrow access to the pitches, pitches too small, virtually no WLAN
Clean, good location but everything much too narrow
The campsite makes a clean impression and the sanitary facilities are mostly good. The location directly on the lake is also good. The restaurant and the store on site have affordable prices, both are recommended. However, this site will not survive forever as it has remained in the 80s in terms of the... pitches. In my opinion, the pitches are too small and too close together. OK with tents as in the past, too small with caravans and motorhomes. On our pitch, we only saw caravans and motorhomes all around us and there was no view because of the cramped conditions. The access road to the campsite and the access roads to the pitches are also too narrow and only one lane. Waiting times, reversing, a lot of patience when parking and good nerves are required. Plugging in at the electricity box was also not nice because of the narrowness. We had to squeeze through prickly hedges and past caravans. It is also no longer in keeping with the times that Wi-Fi is hardly available anywhere (except near the reception), especially not at a supposed 4-star campsite. We will not visit this site again as long as the pitches are not enlarged and we are sure that many others will feel the same way.
