"Great campsite ..very quiet, but nothing for anglers - Great campsite, very secluded with a quiet location, pure nature. Only the angler comes too short. Are there any fish in there at all? We didn't have a single bite. The other anglers who camped right by the water didn't have a bite either. It should be pointed out that there are no fish there or the chance of catching a fish is very, very small. That's probably why you can't buy a fishing license at the campsite. You can buy them in Viechtach.

"Weekend at Camping Höllensteinsee - Very nice campsite on the Höhlensteinsee! The pitches are well-kept, the sanitary facilities modern and clean. We particularly liked the great location with lots of leisure activities in the surrounding area - ideal as a starting point for excursions. Despite bad weather on arrival and a small mishap (we got stuck), the operator was there to help immediately, super friendly and uncomplicated. All in all, a top campsite that we can recommend without reservation - we would love to come back!

"Camping Höllensteinsee TOP ! - Beautifully situated, quiet campsite. Modern furnishings, good service on site with its own terrace and small but well-stocked store. Bread roll service, drinking water at the pitch. I would particularly like to praise the strict separation between the dog and non-dog areas. Strange dogs and small children do not belong together! It's rarely the animals that bother us, but the people who no longer accept or even know the basic rules for their dogs. In this respect, great praise to the operator. We will be back!
