Gladly again, very quiet (the train next door doesn't run that often). Gastronomy offers everything you need.

Advantages
Very nice operators, uncomplicated handling, pretty unparceled pitches under trees, many electricity distribution points, directly on the cycle path and on the Tauber, close to Wertheim, clean but very old sanitary house
Negatives
Sanitary facilities no longer up to date, chemical toilet is emptied in the men's room, small washbasin with cold water, no storage facilities, shower without the possibility to put dry clothes away safely, everything is very outdated, barrier also partly closed for pedestrians and cyclists during the lunch break
Quiet place in the forest
A beautiful, almost ideal place for cyclists. The Tauber cycle path runs right past the site, lots of trees, so hardly any satellite reception, no success with DVB-T either.
I didn't feel comfortable in the sanitary facilities. The chemical toilet is emptied in the men's room, unpleasant for everyone... else who wants to wash or shower there. Everything is quite old, the taps only give cold water and you have to pay extra for the shower.
The facility itself looks old, rustic and in need of an overhaul.
The restaurant offers old German cuisine, no offer for vegetarians.
The very friendly owners, the uncomplicated service and the rather low price are real highlights.

All in all: highly recommended

Advantages
Beautiful places, super nice and helpful operators. Fishing licenses available on site. Nice big playground
Negatives
Only cold water at the washbasins. However, this is to be renovated.
Great campsite
Great pitches with trees. The Tauber right next to the site. Super nice and helpful operators. Restaurant with home-style cooking right at the entrance. Very clean sanitary facilities. Lots of power points, you don't need a long cable. Fishing licenses are available directly at the registration desk.

Advantages
Great location, free choice of pitch, very clean, friendly welcome, clean sanitary facilities
Negatives
Unheated washrooms/showers, unfortunately only cold water at the washbasins
Very nicely located place
The site is beautifully situated on the Tauber and the country road on the other bank didn't bother us, there was wonderfully little traffic. We also really liked the fact that you can choose your own pitch. All in all, a very nice place. The downside (from our point of view) is that the sanitary facilities... were not heated and there was only one tap for cold water at the washbasins.
Otherwise, the site is highly recommended for campers who like it quieter.

Advantages
beautiful place with old trees friendly operators
Negatives
Very old sanitary facilities
Beautiful place under trees
The whole place looks like a beautiful park and you can always find a nice, shady pitch. The operators are very friendly and relaxed.
The site is a good starting point for hikes and city tours. We didn't mind that there is no bread service. We were more bothered by the very old sanitary facilities, which clearly reached their limits with the high occupancy rate. It would be nice to see some investment here.

Advantages
quiet location, bathing in the Tauber
Short trip to the concert at Wertheim Castle
Passionate campsite operator: very friendly, individual service. Somewhat older sanitary facilities, but very clean. Very quiet, supplies in the nearby village from the bakery and butcher. The highlight was the opportunity to swim in the Tauber! Very good burger restaurant on site, be sure to reserve in advance: 13th street (facebook) This was not the last time we were there!

Advantages
Friendliness, spacious pitches, clean sanitary facilities, reasonable price, good catering on site.
Negatives
Outdated sanitary facilities, no bread service on site, dogs running free on the grounds, relatively loud.
Nature camping rustic
Very friendly operator couple, which also applies to the permanent campers. Free choice of pitches on unparceled grounds with mature trees. Apart from the tent meadow, the water pitches are firmly in the hands of permanent campers. The sanitary building is no longer up to date but always very clean.... Only 2 showers each for men and women. No spatial separation of toilet, chemical toilet sink and washing/shower facilities. Washing facilities only cold water. Many dogs running loose (must be kept on a lead according to site rules?). Access via cycle path also for the restaurant. Therefore a lot of traffic (guests, suppliers, ...) along the site until late in the evening. Adjacent railroad line clearly audible.

Advantages
Great surroundings and the best burgers in the 13th street restaurant. Campfire and fishing.
Negatives
None. If you find any, you are in the wrong place
A little paradise on the Tauber
Nice little campsite. Lots of trees provide shade. Located directly on the Tauber, fishing permits can be purchased with a fishing license. Very friendly and committed owner and operator. There are fire pits and good fishing opportunities on the tent meadows next door, which belong to the campsite. Very clean sanitary facilities and a family atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Advantages
Flat sites, just mowed, quiet, ok plumbing.
Negatives
pay for shower, no wifi, heavy grease smell from restaurant hung over campsite.
Ok, but may move more with time
Neat campsite, we camped here 1 night with our family (children aged 13, 11 and 8) during our cycling vacation. We slept in tents. Spacious spots, flat, had a quick swim in Tauber (cold though), good fries. No longer of this time to pay separately for shower and wifi would also be convenient.

Nice service
Negatives
Almost no water acces. No gates in the fence.
A bit dissapointing
Very short place to drive in. Very long place with shortcuts and no open gate. So the dog walk was to long. All places along the Tauber was occupied with long term ressidence. To bad. So we drowe on after one night.

Advantages
Peace and quiet, beautifully situated, tasty restaurant
Negatives
Shopping facilities not nearby, outdated sanitary facilities
Simple facilities, absolutely quiet location, nice owners, good restaurant
The site is located on the Tauber in the forest, about 1 km from Reicholzheim. Lots of trees, lots of green, lots of shade. Very nice owners. Good restaurant with young cuisine. Sanitary facilities from the 60's, but clean - also has a certain charm. Coin-operated showers. The owners say that the sanitary... facilities are to be renovated in the near future. Our conclusion: thanks to the rainy summer, there was probably a lack of guests, which suited us because we had plenty of peace and quiet. The Tauber cycle path runs directly alongside the campsite. The interior of the restaurant, like the sanitary facilities, is getting on in years, which cannot be said of the menu. The young chefs create interesting, tasty dishes.

Advantages
Proximity to Wertheim, cleanliness, An operator with a heart.
Negatives
Showers with forced water temperature that is far too high. Only cold water at the washbasins. Restaurant closed on Mondays.
Old doesn't have to be bad
Beautifully situated in a birch grove directly on the Tauber. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years and are not quite up to standard. However, cleanliness and tidiness are very important on this family-run site. Very friendly, sociable operator and permanent campers.

We feel very comfortable here. That's why we come here a few times a year, because we can really relax. Even when there are children here, there is no noise. Everyone is very friendly, nice and helpful.
