"Worse never gets! - We rented an apartment on the campsite that Mr. Brinks hadn't cleaned for six months and was actually so bold as to slip the apartment away from us. His statement was: he had no staff to clean the apartment. The apartment was completely dirty: dead insects, dust everywhere, very dirty floor, hair, the beds were not freshly made. We were really disappointed. After consultation, we cleaned for 1.5 hours ourselves and agreed with Mr. Brinks that we would deduct our cleaning service from the final amount (of which we already have to pay half of it in advance!). Mr Brinks was of the opinion that we had only cleaned a little briefly, which was equivalent to normal cleaning. We clearly disagreed, as the two of us cleaned for 1.5 hours (for example, the cupboards in the kitchen had to be cleaned and the dishes washed first!). Thereupon Mr. Brinks threatened us with debt enforcement and with his lawyer. In fact, the only reason the matter has not degenerated into any legal dispute in court is because we have given in the agreement that we will deduct the cleaning service from the final amount only verbally and not in writing and therefore have given in. We consider the amount to be taken to court for cleaning to be very disproportionate. And be careful: you can be operated by anyone at any time, you don't even need a written receipt (e.g. invoice)!

"Nice place. Unfortunately too expensive - Place is beautifully situated on the Rhone. Very nice staff. Unfortunately too expensive compared to other campsites. There is no low season. We paid 39 francs. Plus 3 francs garbage fee and then 1 franc showers per person. That was 44 francs! The playground is partially damaged, so there is a risk of injury. Fine for an overnight stay. If there is a lot going on, I can imagine that 2 showers are not enough.

"Still a very beautiful and well-kept place - This is the first time I've stayed at this site with my motorhome in the summer. Everything looks very neat and clean. I receive friendly and attentive service at reception. The choice of pitch is generously left to the guest. Even now in the high season, the site is by no means overcrowded. The sanitary facilities are newly renovated and appear clean. There are cash machines for showers. The site is ideal for long hikes and bike tours in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the campsite's own restaurant no longer serves food since the change of ownership, which I very much regret. But in the nearby village store (approx. 15 minutes on foot), campers can get everything their hearts desire.
