Der Campingplatz "Am Steinbacher See" liegt - nur 2 km außerhalb des Stadtzentrums von Schwäbisch Hall - zu Füßen des ehemaligen Benediktinerklosters Comburg an einem Seeufer und verfügt insgesamt über 90 Parzellen, darunter 30 Dauerstellplätze. Da das Gelände an ein … Naturschutzgebiet grenzt, hat man hier die Möglichkeit, mehr als 100 Vogelarten zu beobachten. Darüber hinaus wartet der Platz mit einem modernen Sanitärgebäude auf und auch eine Waschmaschine sowie ein Trockner sind vorhanden. Außerdem bietet die Besitzerfamilie einen Brötchenservice an und betreibt eine kleine Kneipe, das "Camperstüble". Schwäbisch Hall bietet viel für Kulurfans, z.B. Freilichtspiele, Würth Kunsthalle, Freilandmuseum. Für die Abkühlung gibt es ein Solebad oder ein Freizeitbad (3 km). Für die jüngeren Gäste steht ein Spielplatz auf dem Campingplatz zur Verfügung. Nicht zuletzt ist der Campingplatz fast direkt am über 300 km langen Kocher-Jagst-Radweg gelegen.
