"Beautiful Campground - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A beautiful campground—highly recommended! We stayed at this campground with a large group of 12 people and felt right at home from the very beginning. The entire campground is very clean and modern; much of it is brand-new and makes a really great impression. We were particularly impressed by the private restroom facilities—super clean, modern, and truly very comfortable. If you value a little extra comfort, we highly recommend these facilities. We also received a warm welcome at the front desk. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. A special highlight for us was the Rabbit Bar. It offers great options—from delicious food to fantastic drinks. We especially liked the atmosphere, which invites you to sit together and relax. Since we had planned a canoe trip, the campground owner and his son even drove us personally to our starting point. This service and their easygoing, personal manner made our stay even more enjoyable. We can truly recommend this campground to everyone—whether you’re traveling with family, as a couple, or with a larger group. We felt completely at home and would love to come back! A full 5 stars from us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"Everything just fits here! - We stayed here for 4 nights with our trailer and are absolutely thrilled. The sites are very spacious, and the private restrooms are well-designed and clean! You can tell at every turn just how much heart, attention to detail, and passion the owners have put into this place. ​ We’ll definitely be back!

"Great campground surrounded by nature! - The campground is very clean and well-maintained. Surrounded by nature, you can relax right away—and yet you’re still just a short drive from downtown Meppen! There are so many recreational options—an extremely well-developed network of bike paths, canoe trips on the Ems and Hase rivers, endless opportunities for walks, or simply enjoying nature right on the campground! The swimming lake isn’t just a great way to cool off—it also perfectly rounds out the vacation atmosphere! The on-site beach bar invites you to enjoy a few cold drinks or delicious meals at reasonable prices. In short: this place truly leaves nothing to be desired!

"A relaxing weekend - Spacious campsites, nice and clean private restrooms, stable and fast Wi-Fi, a large dog run, and a great location. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The perfect place to unwind and relax. We’ll definitely be back!

"Fantastic - I had a fantastic time. The staff were exceptionally helpful, the site is strikingly tastefully designed, and they really thought of EVERYTHING. The private restroom facilities are spacious, with plenty of room and good storage options; they’re very clean, modern, and well-maintained. Everything has been thought of for dogs. There’s a wonderfully large off-leash area with a dog water station and seating for people; walking trails through the woods are perfect for dogs; trash cans are placed everywhere; and there’s even a dog beach. The campground store has wonderfully extended hours and a wide variety of merchandise. The daily bread roll service leaves nothing to be desired, and the Rabbit – The Beachbar restaurant takes the vacation vibe to the next level. The campground is in a great location—close to nature yet with everything within easy reach: a supermarket, restaurants (such as Röckers in Helte), not far from downtown Meppen, and many walking and biking trails in the immediate vicinity. The Campingcleaner rounds out the offerings perfectly. If you’d like, you can even rent bikes or SUPs. The lake, including its swimming beach, is a real treat for all vacationers. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

"Chalet Stay - We’d love to come back. It was really nice for us to take a break right where we live. There are a few areas for improvement that could be considered. The team is still finding its footing—no question about it—and we hope that guests will treat everything with care so that we can all continue to enjoy this great place for a long time to come.
