"Thick air - On our return journey to Germany, we stopped here for another 4 days for a swim. The site has potential, is nicely sheltered from the wind between the pine trees and still offers plenty of sunshine. The proximity to the beautiful beach is the highlight here. However, the smell of the waste garbage cans and the waste water disposal points lingers over large parts of the site, which is more than unpleasant depending on the wind direction. The sanitary facilities are an imposition. Mold in the showers, urine-smelling toilets. I don't want to go into any more detail here... We were there at the end of the season and the campsite was very crowded for the first few days. Maybe we'll give the campsite another chance in a few years, as the beach really is fantastic.

"Large square under pine trees - The site is very close to the sea and has little traffic noise. The surrounding area and nearby towns are easy to explore by bike and the location is also good for exploring the sights in the area. There are a lot of long-term campers on the site, which is why it was quite quiet during the week. The store was as good as empty...it will probably be sold empty at the end of the season. The pitches are large and easy to access, you just have to be careful not to stand right next to an inconspicuous toilet disposal in the forest....The staff at reception were friendly. ..

"Quiet spot in the pine forest - Large site. Many permanent campers whose pitches are all very well maintained. Beach within walking distance (depending on where you are, you have to allow some time). Sanitary facilities have everything you need. Cleanliness in order. You stand under pine trees, which we really liked.

"Great campsite - Friendly reception in English, reception and store for essentials generously designed and in one room. Some parts of the site are characterized by permanent campers, pitches in pine forest large, flat and mostly shady, you need luck for satellite reception. 3 large modern sanitary buildings, always clean during our stay in the low season. Playgrounds, great climbing park, restaurant, beautiful beach and good cycle paths for exploring the surrounding area. We liked the campsite very much, but there should be more than just a coat hook in the shower cubicles.

"Pure tranquillity - I am always puzzled by the price discussion. It's up to everyone to accept the price or drive on. The campsite is located in a wooded area and when we visited, the largest European outdoor handball tournament was taking place. And we got the last pitch without a reservation. There are many permanent campers on the campsite (not negative). Satellite reception is hardly possible with the trees. You can quickly reach the beach and the town by bike/bus. The staff was helpful, sanitary clean and sufficient. For 1 night it was o.k. for us, for a longer stay it was too quiet.

"Vacation trouble - There is no valid price list during the high season. The tariff is not visible anywhere and is set at our discretion. Socket at pitch was defective, no remedy despite notification. Sanitary facilities were dirty and there was no paper for drying hands (men's section)

Bathing paradise on Skåne's eastern coastline Our campsite in Åhus, outside Kristianstad on the east coast of Skåne, is close to extensive beaches, magical forests and calm lakes. Åhus has been a popular seaside resort since the end of the …19th century, where thousands of people travelled every year to enjoy the long white sandy beach. First Camp Åhus – Kristianstad includes a breathtaking high rope course and a playground. Åhus town centre can be reached quickly with a walk or bike ride, and there are many interesting excursions in the region, including the Åhus Museum, the “Absolut Vodka“ exhibition, Ale’s Stones, medieval Glimmingehus Castle in Simrishamn, the apple region of Kivik, “Wallander’s Ystad“ and the Tosselilla Amusement Park. At Åhus, guests in caravans and tents reside on our lovely camping pitches of varying size and for those in campers there are plenty of asphalted camper plots with patios. But here you don’t have to have your own home with you, if you don’t want to, because it offers both comfortable cabins and new glamingtents. All this only a few steps away from the white beach of Täppet and its cooling sea. Welcome!
