Let's start with the site: The pitches are big enough, but the cars have to be parked somewhere else if you have a "normal" caravan upwards of 500 and want to pitch your tent/awning. Tent campers are on a separate meadow, which I personally fully approve of.... The sanitary facilities are modernized, there are plenty of showers and they are always clean. The pool is also clean and beautiful. The manager and the site staff are always friendly and helpful. Absolutely top. Supermarket, bank, bakery, restaurants are very close by. So you can actually do everything on foot or by bike. Now let's move on to the slightly less pleasant points, which I would like to pass on to the boss in particular, but also to other travelers. The boss's dog runs around freely all day. I don't mind, but some people are afraid of dogs. He can be quite a nuisance at barbecues, the woof. Even if it's a nice one: that's not possible. About the pool: The pool, which is already small anyway, should have animals and air mattresses should be banned. As always, some people overdo it and take their partner's mattress into the pool. The problem is obviously not only at the campsite but also in the hotel rooms, where it can get louder with the neighbors. If I owned the pitch, I would keep an eye on it and after the second announcement they would dismantle it and if necessary at 7 am. A wonderful vacation
We stayed here for the first time in July 2018. 2 adults, 1 child 13 years, 1 dog. No risk - no fun. Booked without any reviews available here. Only Google Earth, Goggle reviews and YouTube video as a guide. Arrived, excitement was huge... and then we were allocated a pitch in the front row!!! The pitches... are all around 80 square meters. Some of the sanitary facilities had just been renovated, others were a bit older. However, everything was clean and in good condition. The site only has about 50-60 pitches. At peak times there may be a bit few showers (6-7 around). Showers are free of charge. The first row is busy during the day, as the busy beach promenade is directly in front of it. From there it is perhaps 15 meters to the lake. This has a stone beach directly in front of the pitch. However, this is absolutely no problem with the usual bathing shoes. The water is super clean. From midday there is a breeze that attracts surfers and sailors to the lake. Everything is very civilized on the site... No noise at night. The staff at the front desk are absolutely friendly, helpful and speak good German. Next year, however, we will also (try to) speak Italian :-) There is also a pool area and a pool bistro on the site. A small hotel and vacation bungalows belong to the site. However, caravans over 7m long have a hard time getting through the narrow and parked paths to the pitch. The site offers both shady and sunny pitches. Electricity close to the pitch, but no water connection. This has to be fetched (by a short route) from the sanitary building. The 360 degree panorama around the lake is all mountains. In connection with the lake absolutely fantastic. Shopping possibility in the supermarket in 300m walking distance. There are plenty of other supermarkets within a radius of 10 km. Restaurants, ice cream parlors, stores... everything available. We had our (lively) dog with us... all without any problems. Walking possible (please don't forget poop bags), cooling off for the dog in the lake no problem... We couldn't find any no-dog zones! So great there too! Surf school, rental, paddleboard rental... everything right on the lake next to the campsite. OK... the main road in front of the campsite... it's very busy from 9/10 o'clock in the morning. But you don't notice anything on the pitch. Only when you want to go somewhere. In the evening everything is quiet here too. It was a dream vacation for us!!! We say thank you to the operator!!! We have already booked here again for our summer vacation in 2019.
