"Dirty and messy camp - Bonfires and gray water that goes straight into the ground. A sour smell and mountains of rubbish. The sanitary facilities are dirty and cramped and there is no control.

"Wonderful beach with a great sunset - We stayed here for two nights with our children (10/7), the big bouncy cushion was a hit! We all loved the beach and the dunes, the staff were friendly. The only downside was that it was dog noisy. We also have a dog and love dogs in general, but we've never experienced so many dogs on one site. Especially so many per caravan/motorhome. Two rows away from us, a family had their SEVEN small dogs with them, which were very unpleasant barkers. Every time someone went to the wash house, they barely got themselves back in. And the car was right on the path. Annoying. But there were also lots of calm, friendly dogs. Maybe we just happened to be there on a weekend with lots of dogs :-)

"A typical place by the sea - A huge place right on the beach. As we were there in the NS, there was virtually no service. We checked in ourselves at the designated pitches. Sanitary facilities mostly closed - only one sanitary block was open. There was unbearably loud music in the kitchens etc, which could be heard all over the site when the doors were open. Check out from 9-12.00. WLAN free of charge - showers via chip card. No open store nearby. No trees or shrubs on the pitch.

"Huge campsite - It is a large campsite directly on the Baltic Sea with a beautiful beach. There are various leisure facilities, a restaurant and a large playground. The sanitary facilities were very modern and well maintained and were cleaned regularly. Due to the size, you can't expect it to be quiet. Pitches were a good and reasonable size.

" - The pitch is large, sanitary facilities are very clean. Friendly staff. Unfortunately we were there in September and it was extremely windy on the days. It was also the low season and the site was practically empty. You can also make great trips to Varberg or Falkenberg. The beach was full of shells, great for the children. A short walk across the mudflats is also possible.

First Camp Björkäng-Varberg in Tvååker, south of Varberg, is a beautifully located family camping. The area is rightfully called Hallands riviera and at the camping site you will find everything you need to create lovely holiday memories. At Camping Björkäng …you can choose to accommodate in a caravan, an RV, a tent or in a cabin located close to the beautiful beach. Spend your days enjoying the sun and swimming in the sea, or pick and choose from our variety of activities, such as mini golf, boules, or beach volleyball. Here you will find activities for the whole family to enjoy. On site you can also get what you need in a well organised supermarket or go for something to eat at the restaurant. The child friendly sandy beach at Björkäng offers the whole family to enjoy beautiful days with loads of sun, swimming in the sea, playing and walking along the shore. If you have had enough of sandy days by the beach there is opportunities to play mini golf, boules and football on the camping site. For the younger children there is also a playground and a kids club where they can spend time and have fun together during summer. In access to the camping site there is a national park which is perfect for hikes and long walks with the dog. With just a short journey in the car you can also find the big shopping center Ullared, the city of Falkenberg and Varberg.
