"Avoid the square - Where no dogs are allowed, there's nothing for us. The owner was probably born at the age of 15. It's terrible that something like this still exists today.

"The lightness of life is somewhere else - As cyclists, we camped there for one night. We arrived there as a storm was rolling in and wanted to set up our tents quickly before it started to pour. The operator literally pounced on us and demanded that we register and pay immediately. He wasn't interested in what was about to happen in the sky. His comment was "everyone as they need it". My interpretation of this: This is probably the fate of campers and he finds them funny anyway. He's constantly racing around the square on his Segway, making control trips and reprimanding guests. At least it feels like there are surveillance cameras everywhere. I've stayed at many different camping sites, but I've never encountered such compulsive behavior. You didn't have the urge to want to communicate with him in any way. We were able to sleep peacefully, showers were nice, but the next day we were happy to drive on again.

"Quiet spot on the Main-Danube Canal - After reaching the campsite in the remote village somewhere between Belingries and Dietfurt, we were greeted by a barrier from which the campsite is not visible. Nevertheless, there was an explicit sign prohibiting access to the site. This "reglementitis" continued. The pitches were unsuitable for tents, but the campsite was not accessible by car (which is always annoying when the car is needed as storage space). Having to pay for WiFi is all the more annoying when the site is practically in a dead zone. Overall, however, the stay was peaceful and problem-free.

"Idyllic little camp - The campsite is small, located directly on the cycle path, we were on a meadow, very idyllic. The campsite managers were also very friendly and helpful. There would have been parceled out pitches available the whole time, which we weren't shown, which I didn't understand. But we still liked it very much on the meadow. The sanitary facilities were relatively new and always clean. We didn't need a bread roll service and we were quickly in Dietfurt, 3 km away, by bike and always ate very well there. We would love to come back anytime!

"Small campsite, very quiet, directly on the cycle path - Finding a pleasantly quiet and uncrowded small campsite during the Whitsun vacations is not that easy. We like to travel spontaneously and took a little break here. We would come again.

"Real rip-off, very special - A real rip-off! Never again! for 2 nights, 2 people in the Kawa with wifi and electricity almost 66 € !!! is not worth it the place!!!

Fahrradfreunde haben direkten Anschluss an den Radweg des RMD - Kanal und somit das ganze Wegenetz des Altmühltal’s zur Verfügung. …Ein ausgiebiges Wanderwegenetz in den Altmühlbergen und Tälern ist für Alt und Jung zu erklimmen.´ Für Golffreunde ist ein Golfplatz 3 km Richtung Beilngries vorhanden. Mit den Personenschiffen können sie von Beilngries nach Berching fahren, Zur 7 Täler Stadt Dietfurt sind es ca. 2,5 km, nach Beilngries ca. 5 km Über die zentrale Lage des Ortes in dem Dreieck von Nürnberg, Regensburg und Ingolstadt, haben Sie eine kurze Anbindung zur A9 über Kinding oder Denkendorf und zur A3 über Parsberg. Unser Campingplatz verfügt über 30 Stellplätze für Wohnwagen und Wohnmobile. Um Ihnen entsprechende Ruhe und Erholung bieten zu können, sind uns Gäste ab 14 Jahren herzlich willkommen. Um Ihre Ruhe nicht durch Hundegebell etc. zu stören, werden auch keine Hunde mehr auf unserem Platz gestattet. Erleben Sie und erholen Sie sich im Ottmaringer Tal.
