Great place and a great starting point for excursions
It was a great stay. The playground, bistro, and grounds were fantastic. With all the trees around, it feels like you're camping in the woods.

Advantages
From the booking to the reception and the stay, to the departure - all good ;-)
Negatives
The reference to the benefits of e.g. membership of another automobile club was somewhat hidden, but now I know ;-)
Manageable space, conveniently located.
A conveniently located place to visit the Viamala Gorge, for example, or - my favorite - the RhB World Heritage route. The train station is within easy walking distance, and there are also shops directly opposite. There is also a bread roll service on site and a snack bar. I was very satisfied and will definitely be back.

Advantages
Very centrally and beautifully located campsite with many possibilities for various outdoor activities. Whether for bikers or mountain sports enthusiasts. A big compliment to the campsite team... Although a few pigs were lured to this campsite during the Whitsun weekend, the sanitary facilities were always clean!!!
Negatives
The space for the gray water drain is too narrow. As various motorhomes have their drains on the right-hand side, the gray water now flows onto the site and not into the sewer system created for this purpose.
4 overnight stays over the Whitsun days with very nice weather
Very friendly and helpful camping staff, very clean pitches, electricity and water supply well distributed, ideal and central location, easy to reach by public transport, good shopping facilities available, well-kept and clean sanitary facilities, uncomplicated handling and competent advice
Many thanks .... We will be back.....

Advantages
Clean, well-kept, in nature, close to public transportation, friendly staff, has everything you need
Negatives
The drain for gray water is very small and on the wrong side for our car, but that's criticism on a high level...
Very well-kept place
In the middle of nature under trees, you will find a very well-kept, beautiful campsite with friendly staff. Public transport is also close by.

End of vacation
As good as new complex, top modern, super clean and in a good starting point for many activities. Shaded by many trees and towards the evening you can no longer hear any cars. In the village, which is easily accessible on foot, there are various options for eating out. There is even a small DIY store (Jumbo).

Advantages
The campsite is beautifully situated in the forest.
Negatives
There was only bread service on site. Everything else had to be bought in the village or at the nearby gas station store.
Quiet campsite
The campsite is beautifully situated in the forest. Which is certainly even more ideal in summer. The sanitary facilities are new and very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The train is a 7-minute walk away. But next time we will take bicycles with us. We will certainly visit this campsite again. Thank you Susanne for the great pitch!

Vacation in Chalet Mini
Beautiful campsite in the forest and not far from the train station and various shopping facilities. Everything within walking distance.

Brings back old memories of the former TCS campsite in Davos.

Was a guest at Camping Viamala for 4 weekends in 2021 (3 x in a chalet and 1 x with a tent). This year... for the first time a whole week.

It was again very nice and relaxing days in Thusis.

A good starting point for various activities. Viamala Gorge, hikes, swimming pool next to the campsite, train rides to Chur or the Engadin......

I felt very well looked after by Mrs. Schön and her team. Thank you very much.

Advantages
close to the station
Negatives
The floodlights on the sports fields on two sides of the campsite were on all night.
stopover on the way to the south
We pass Thusis once a year
be it on the way south or on the way back.
the campsite is pleasantly close to the autoroute and near the train station.
the site is pleasantly quiet. the facilities are clean. the town is a short walk away.
It is a pity that the stay does not entitle you to discounted use... of public transport.
Disentis is a good example.
The immediate surroundings invite you to go for a walk.
The floodlights of the sports facilities on two sides of the area are really very annoying.
The floodlights stay on all night.
The wasted electricity consumption multiplies the annoyance even more.

Relaxing family vacation
We always feel very comfortable at this campsite and have a very good rest. Uncomplicated and very friendly!
The sanitary facilities, like the whole site, are clean and pleasant. Only the number of showers is a bit limited. But you can get around this by not showering at peak times in the evening.
It... is suitable for families with children, but also for people looking for peace and quiet, as it is pleasantly quiet (provided you don't camp right next to the playground).

In the immediate vicinity there is:
- a sports field and a 'red' pitch with basketball hoops and football goals.
- Outdoor pool (free of charge for camping guests, as of 2021)
- Bike trail center: https://www.trailcenter-thusis.ch/ very well maintained, with different levels of difficulty and a barbecue area
- The Vitaparcour is also located there
- There is a pump track near the school in the neighboring village of Sils im Domleschg, a little further away on foot

- Catering: The restaurant on site serves delicious food! And if you're self-catering, you can stock up on groceries at the nearby Coop Pronto petrol station. Migros/Coop Thusis is also within easy walking distance.

We would love to come back :-)

Perfect weekend at the TCS campsite
A really beautiful campsite in the forest between the trees and the river.
The team takes loving care of the guests and their pitches. Nothing is missing for a relaxing vacation. The campsite is in a great location for starting MTB tours.
There are various leisure activities and plenty of shops of all... kinds nearby.

I would love to come back and would like to thank the whole camping team for the great weekend I was able to spend with you.
I will gladly come up to you again.
