The campsite was large enough for the three of us, and the restrooms were clean.
Although we ran the refrigerator and hot water on gas, the circuit breaker tripped, so unfortunately the power supply at the site was useless to us.

A diverse campground in a beautiful setting
Our campsite was ideal for golfers. It was very close by and also spacious enough. We don't like camping in cramped conditions. At Wulfener Hals, there's plenty of space. The staff are very polite, and the entire grounds are very well maintained. Thanks for the wonderful stay—see you next year :)

An excellent campground for families with children
This was my fourth time staying at this wonderful campground with my granddaughters, and I’ve already booked for next year.
If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this might not be the best place for you, but for families with kids, this campground is a dream! Perfectly organized, friendly, clean, with plenty of recreational activities for all ages, and in a great location… worth every penny 🤩

A pleasant stay with some ups and downs in the service
Overall, we thought the services, the facilities, the location, and the cleanliness were all top-notch—and suitable for families, too. But please (!!) let people know—especially those making last-minute bookings or staying for a short time when every minute of the day counts—that the parking spots right... outside the door are optional. I was assured over the phone that it was possible to park right outside (for an extra 10 EUR!?) The search for a parking spot and all the back-and-forth cost us over an hour and involved a lot of walking back and forth. And this despite the fact that we arrived late in the evening as a couple and only had the next day. It would be great if there were discounts or special parking arrangements for couples and spontaneous stays, especially when the sole purpose is to use the surf school and no other services are utilized.

Summer Vacation 2026 at "Wulfener Hals"
We had a great summer vacation; there’s so much to do, ranging from sports activities and various dining options (supermarket, bistro, restaurants) to entertainment for the whole family.
We were particularly impressed by the restroom facilities—they were clean, spacious, and modern.
The only downside was the pigeon problem; it was a bit annoying at times, but it didn’t spoil our vacation.

Campground with a great location and plenty of things to do
The Wulfenener Hals campground comes highly recommended, especially for families with children. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The tree cover, in particular, is exceptional for a campground.
There’s also a wide variety of activities for children and an entertaining program.
We’ve already booked a campsite for next year.

Dirt and Mold at a Luxury Price
The campground itself is in a beautiful location, and the staff is super friendly. The little store on the grounds is great, too—but that’s where the positives end.

The rental trailers are dirty, cabinet doors are loose, windows are damaged and taped shut. The blinds are moldy, and that’s exactly what... it smells like.
From the outside, the trailers are covered in seagull droppings and completely filthy.
No one has cleaned here in years.
The stalls look exactly the same.
Overall, it’s just neglected and filthy. It’s simply a rip-off at exorbitant prices.

Light and Shadow
A very noisy place, well into the night. The sound from the event stage carried clearly all the way to our campsite (493). The hot tub was occupied by numerous teenagers who were getting a bit too close to the 10- to 12-year-old girls in the pool. There was absolutely no supervision at the pool, but... there were men hanging out by the pool during the day with a bottle of beer. Although the restroom facilities are top-notch and kept very clean, they turn into a playground for kids at night. Restrooms remain locked (occupied) until late because children hide or lock themselves inside. There’s a constant sense that children are roaming the grounds completely unsupervised while their parents are somewhere else enjoying a beer. Cars, bikes, scooters, etc., are driven way too fast around the campground. Some of the advertised events for children were canceled without any alternatives being offered. It’s also odd that the snack bar is closed on Thursdays during peak season, while the restaurant doesn’t open until 5:00 p.m.

A lovely place to return to
We spent 10 wonderful days on vacation at the Wulfener Hals campground with our family-style residential group and were thoroughly delighted.

Everything was exceptionally well organized right from the start. Communication was straightforward, and all the staff members were friendly, helpful, and dedicated... at all times.

We’d especially like to highlight the very clean restroom facilities, the many play and recreational options for the children, and the beautiful beach, which is perfect for swimming, playing, and relaxing.

It was a relaxing and unforgettable time for our children and the entire team. We’d like to express our heartfelt thanks for the wonderful stay and would love to come back. We highly recommend it!

Clean restrooms, good amenities for kids, great playground, beautiful beach, the only thing is that the rental RVs could be a bit cleaner (at least ours was), and if they have any defects, I think they should be rented out at a separate rate (at a discount, with a note stating that defects exist) or... not at all. Furthermore, they could be equipped with outdoor seating, so that you don’t have to bring the table and chairs from inside out when the weather is nice. We’ll definitely be back, but these are a few things that could be improved.

Short Vacation
Nice place, lots to offer, but the RV sites in front of the gate aren't up to par—they're too small and, for the price charged—even during peak season—unacceptable. They should only be used as emergency spots at most.

We booked a rental RV, but unfortunately, it was already quite worn out.
The area in front of the RV wasn't very well maintained either. Maybe it's time to replace the RV.

Vacation with Pigeons
The place is very impersonal and has a massive pigeon problem; I had to wash pigeon droppings off my car several times during my vacation, and even so, my car’s paint job was damaged.
Plus, there’s no bus service nearby—except for three community bus trips, which are useless! For example, going out... for dinner in town
When I checked out, the only thing they said was, “Yeah, everything’s paid for!”
I’ve never had a farewell like that before.
There are no signs anywhere for the campground users!
I had to remove thorns and stinging nettles from around the water faucet first!
Everything’s getting pretty old!
Except for the prices—those have been updated!

Great campground
What I really liked was the layout of the campsites. I was very impressed by the dedication of the cleaning staff, who were cleaning the washhouse the entire time, from early in the morning until evening.

Excellent, with a few minor drawbacks
Unfortunately, there aren't enough men's restrooms and sinks in the washhouse at the RV park, which often led to long wait times. The value for money at the pizzeria isn't right. The Seeblick restaurant, on the other hand, is outstanding. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Expensive but good
-The restroom facilities are perfect, especially the extra sink by the showers
-But considering that my dog sleeps in my own (!) trailer, I think nine euros per day per dog is absolutely outrageous!
For that fee, there should at least be dog waste bag dispensers “on every corner”
- An automated external... defibrillator (AED) is often lifesaving in an emergency!!! However, it shouldn’t be located in the entrance area, but rather in the center of the campground. That way, anyone can reach it as quickly as possible

A great but large campground
A very large and lovingly designed campground that has everything you could want. The friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff are second to none.

What immediately caught our eye was the washhouse, which is always a campground’s calling card. It was never dirty; staff were constantly busy keeping... the entire restroom and shower area clean. We run a motorhome park ourselves and know exactly what we’re talking about here.
The shopping area is spacious, as is the waste disposal area.

The campsites are very large and well-equipped with electricity, water, and sewage connections. We have a very large trailer and had trouble maneuvering in because the paths are very narrow and winding. As a result, when we were leaving, we needed a few strong staff members to help us maneuver out so as not to cause any further damage to the vehicle.

One thing that isn’t very well designed for cyclists is that it’s very difficult to leave or enter the grounds by bike near the barriers. A small change is needed here, or—if it exists, which we didn’t see—signage for cyclists. The same applies to trash disposal; although the area is spacious, it shouldn’t be so cluttered if possible. You have to walk past all the trash to get to the general household waste area. This is very unpleasant in high temperatures.

The last two points mentioned are not meant as criticism and do not detract from our overall impression of the campground itself. We felt very comfortable from the very beginning until the very last minute and would love to come back here again.
