Dejlig campingplads med masser af natur! Faciliteterne er rene og der er gode legepladser til både de store og små.

Lækker campingplads. Smuk natur, fed strand og skønne mennesker.

Der mangler en bus til os der ikke har bil, så det er lidt besværligt fra Fårevejle kirkeby til campingpladsen.
Bedste weekend
Finn og Ida, der bestyrer campingpladsen, er varme, venlige og altid hjælpsomme. der er smukt, dejligt og var det perfekte til en weekend hvor jeg kunne oplade batterierne. Jeg kan stærkt anbefale Sanddobberne Camping.

Sanddobberne Camping er den hyggeligste campingplads, jeg nogensinde har været på. Beliggenheden lige ud til vandet, naturen, de kreative omgivelser med malerier og flere gode legepladser, samt meget venlige mennesker, er nok det jeg bedst kan lide.

Vinden kan godt være lidt kraftig ind i mellem.

Vi kommer helt sikkert igen! Her føler man sig godt tilpas. Overalt er der rent og pænt, og stemningen er meget behagelig. Hyggelige pladser både ud til vandet, og i skygge mellem smukke gamle træer. Vandreturen op til Vejrhøj, og besøg hos lokal keramiker var en succes. Kan anbefale campingpladsens grillkylling.

- Parking lot in front of the pitch - Free shower - Beach at the campsite (shallow and suitable for children) - Bread roll service - Kitesurfing paradise 😉 (At least if you book a beach spot, you should be windproof, sand pegs are also important!!!!)

If you want to complain on a high level, a beach shower wouldn't be bad to rinse off the sand. We "abused" the dog shower for our feet and shoes.

Really a very nice place with fantastic sunsets, a beach that is ideal for children as it is always shallow (and therefore warm enough)
Logically, you should have sand pegs with you 😉.
We had underestimated the wind in the most challenging section.
Otherwise, there is everything a camper ❤ could... wish for.
The ice cream is delicious 🍨, you should try it!
The small store also has the essentials.
Above all, very nice people.
We had a family bathroom, but you don't have to. There are plenty of showers, wash cubicles and toilets (all very clean)!

Lovely family-run campsite in a beautiful landscape
Sanddobberne campsite is a medium-sized, family-run site located directly on the west coast of Sjælland. It is largely unspoilt and blends in well with the Odsherred landscape. First of all, if you are looking for a vibrant camping life, you are in the wrong place, in other words, it is quiet here. But... if that's what you're looking for, you're in very good hands here! The site is parceled out, or rather, the individual pitches are numbered. The individual pitches are not arranged row by row, but are scattered across the site. That looks nice for a start. The pitches directly by the sea are of course arranged next to each other, but at the back the pitches are located under loose trees, which determine the layout of the pitches. There are beautiful pitches everywhere, sheltered from the wind and in some cases with little visibility, which I find gives the site a very homely character. As I like to have an unobstructed view of the sea, I chose a pitch in the front row with a view of the water and the bathing island in front (accessible via a jetty). It was the end of May 2019 and (unfortunately from the operator's point of view) everything was still free, so at this time of year you can even spend nice days here with a view of the sea if you're lucky. Of course, if you stay here, you have to be prepared for the fact that it can blow quite strongly from the sea. If you don't like this, you can look for a sheltered spot at the back. As is so often the case on smaller family-run campsites, I received an extremely friendly welcome here too. The reception was already closed when I arrived, but as the family lives on the site, it only took a few minutes to check me in. What more could you want! As for the sanitary facilities: although they are no longer brand new, they are well maintained and super clean. I can't say what it looks like in high season (this depends a lot on the behavior of the guests!!). What is particularly positive is that showers (hot) are included. No need to insert a coin or swipe a card, just press a button and the water flows. Even if the water runs dry after a few minutes, simply press the button and you can continue soaping yourself in peace. This arrangement is rarely found on campsites, which is why it is particularly convenient from the guests' point of view. Another detail: the two-part shower cubicles have a wooden bench in the anteroom. This may sound unspectacular, but you will appreciate this help at the latest when you want to pull your socks over your semi-dry feet. Another seemingly minor detail: there is a shower curtain that separates the actual shower from the anteroom. That's great, because it keeps your clothes and the floor dry, which is also very rare. There are many Danish festival campers at Sanddobberne. In reviews, you often read about the strained relationships between the travelers and the permanent campers. I didn't get that impression here at all. On the contrary, you were greeted in a very friendly manner and there were plenty of opportunities to strike up a conversation, a very nice experience. In my opinion, the prices are average for Denmark. As everywhere else, you pay more for pitches with a view of the water, which is not only the case here and is understandable. Details of the prices can be found on the campsite's website. But once again, showers are included. For your information, I paid EUR 270 (including electricity, tent and car) for 11 days at the end of May. The site has a very large recreation room, a kitchen (stoves, microwave at no extra cost !!!), washing machines and dryers are also available, but these are coin-operated. I also liked the small herb garden, which you can help yourself to as a guest!!! Also worth mentioning is the art studio, where you can get artistic under the guidance of the owner family. Just ask at reception for the times. There is also a small store at reception, which stocks the necessary everyday items. For bulk purchases, there is a supermarket in Havnsø (approx. 5 km) and a small shopping center with a supermarket and discount store in Asnæs (approx. 9 km). So plan your shopping a little, then you won't "starve". Conclusion: a beautifully situated and attractive campsite with a view of the Baltic Sea and the island of Nekselø. If you have any questions or problems, you can always contact the operators Ida Trier and Finn Kristiansen, who really take care of every problem.

DCU Camping Sanddobberne er en velbeliggende og god campingplads
DCU Camping Sanddobberne udmærker sig først og fremmest med sin beliggenhed og meget venlige værtspar. Men også renligheden i såvel servicebygningerne som på selve pladsen, skal fremhæves. Afhængig af hvor på pladsen man ligger, kan der være noget trafikstøj. Især om dagen er det meget udtalt. Langs... selve vandkanten, er der nogle pladser, der ikke kan reserveres. De er, så vidt vides, primært forbeholdt folk på gennemrejse. Pladsen er bevokset med adskillige gamle træer. Det kan man syntes godt om eller ej. Det er i hvert fald meget begrænset, hvad naturmyndighederne tillader af ændringer.

Beautiful campsite located directly to the waterfront
A very nice location and beautiful nature around. Biggest advantage is the possibility to drop by and get a pitch to the waterfront as they cannot be reserved. Cleaning in top, friendly service. On site shop is looking really poor and closed from 12 to 14 even here in peak season, and there is a "long" way to nearest supermarket.

Very nice campsite right on the water. The beach is reached via a small bridge. The water is very shallow, but also warm. There is no meadow for tents, but each tent has its own pitch. These are nicely separated by windbreaks and shrubs. This gives you peace and quiet. The sanitary facilities are all new. The shower is included in the price. On our tour, this was the most beautiful site of all.

Natural site with pitches on the beach and between stunted pines. A great sandbank serves as a bathing beach, which can be reached via a bathing bridge. From here, the water is very shallow - ideal for children. The spacious sanitary building has been completely renovated and modernized and makes a very spacious and clean impression.
