We didn’t go to the beach because it was simply too late and too windy.
The entrance seems to be at the far end of the campground, so it’s a few meters’ walk.
What’s important to us are the restroom facilities. And they were top-notch.
Everything was very well-maintained,... state-of-the-art, and there were family restrooms (toilet, shower, sink). So you’re undisturbed and have your privacy.

The sanitary facilities are very good in concept, there are nine family bathrooms and one handicapped. If you have a fjord pitch you have a fantastic view of a wonderful sunset. - KRKaren Rosenlund N.juni 2012Skøn beliggenhed, lige ned til fjorden og i gåafstand til Mariager by, saltcentret og marina. Gode udflugtsmuligheder bl.a. Dania, Hobro, Hvidsten Kro og Randers regnskov. Veteranjernbanen har endestation lige ved pladsen og kører gennem og langs pladsen Rigtig hyggeligt når det gamle damplokomotiv tøffer... derudaf. Pladsen har et meget venligt og imødekommende værtspar som vil gøre alt for at opfylde gæsternes ønsker. Pladsen er opdelt i mindre sektioner som giver en god stemning idet der ikke ligger mange fastliggere samlet på et sted. Køkken, bade og toiletforhold er i orden og rene . Der er nu lavet udekøkken med grill og overdækket terasse med spiseplads. Louise B.juli 2011Desværre havde de ikke en babyseng til rådighed, som vi ellers havde fået lovning på. Vi henvendte os flere gange, men der var ikke noget at gøre. Vi måtte placere vores 1-årige datter på den underste køje og sætte stole foran. Vi valgte at tjekke ud 2 dage før tid (lørdag), da vores datter faldt ud... af sengen. Værterne troede faktisk også, at vi skulle tjekke ud lørdag, så det havde de misforstået. Ved afregning viste det sig faktisk, at de HAVDE en ekstra babyseng, som vi kunne have lånt... heldigvis fik vi en pæn refusion pga. misforståelserne. Vores hytte lå desuden ved siden af et rensningsanlæg, hvor vi især om aftenen bemærkede en irriterende "klamren" fra en låge el.lign.
