- Bernd F.august 2025PositiveWe were very enthusiastic about your campsite, everything was great, the sanitary facilities were always clean and the pool area was very appealing and impressive. We will definitely be back next year and are already looking forward to a wonderful camping vacation with you at Markushof.☺️☺️😍NegativNoneBeautiful idyllic campsiteIt was an all-round wonderful vacation at Camping Markushof. The staff were very friendly. The pitches are spacious and electricity is included in the price.Automatisk oversat.
- Claus B.august 2025PositiveCleanliness, toilets and showers perfect. Very spacious pitch with satellite receptionNegativOur neighbor was inaccessible and silent.......Super campsite in South TyrolWe have visited the site several times and have always been impressed. The surrounding pass roads offer everything a motorcyclist could wish for. Nearby shopping facilities with very good opening hours, even on Sundays. Good quality meat and sausage products. Bakery across the road, but closed on Sundays. Train connection to Bolzano - Merano, many trains included in the guest pass.Automatisk oversat.
- Karlheinz B.juli 2025PositiveSite in general, the area, the pitches, leisure facilities, tourist card and its included services, price - performance ok, age 50+, no kids and no dogs (although I usually like them).NegativPitches at the front of the road are probably a bit louder. We were further back and heard almost nothing apart from the familiar rooster and the church. Carpet in the shower area by the washbasins. In the large sanitary block you always had to go through the scullery to the showers or toilets. Open cassette emptying virtually in the middle between the pitches.South Tyrol... and the Markushof is always worth a visit. The Markushof is conveniently located in beautiful South Tyrol, approx. 17 km from Bolzano.
A great, small place with hotel and apartments, restaurant and pool. Very nice staff!
At first I thought the sanitary facilities were a bit too small, but there were never any crowds or waiting times. The walk... to the toilet and shower through the scullery wasn't quite my thing.
Likewise the carpet in the washroom by the washbasins or right up to the shower doors.
Emptying the cassette toilet could take place in a room, for example. Right next to the street, even right next to a small parking space.... A matter of taste.
Auer and nice restaurants are just a few steps away.
There are plenty of leisure activities, great.
We will definitely be back!!!!Automatisk oversat. - Christoph R.juli 2025PositiveEverything fitsNegativSlight diagonal slope in parts of the rear part of the square towards the senior citizens' residence may require a driveway wedge for levelingQuiet place to relaxGood location for excursions to Cavalese and for wine tasting. We liked it better this time than in October last year - perhaps also due to the pitch next to the vineyard. Composition of the public seems to vary with the season: fewer senior citizens this time, but some young couples. Attractive planting, sanitary facilities always clean, friendly staff. Bakery within walking distance. We will probably come back in the fall.Automatisk oversat.
- Martin S.juni 2025PositiveThe quiet and pleasant atmosphere; the campsite is not overcrowded; there are always enough sun loungers by the pool.NegativNothingQuiet and relaxing stayNo animals and only adults are allowed at the campsite. It is therefore a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. You also get the South Tyrol Card, which allows you to use public transport. The transport connections are very good.Automatisk oversat.

Very quiet 😁 very clean.NegativI can't think of anything.Wonderful days spent at the MarkushofWe felt very comfortable on the pitch. The sanitary facilities are very clean and the pool is a great place to relax on hot days. There are shops nearby and you can start hiking and cycling tours directly from the campsite.

- Baboo S.maj 2025PositiveWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Camping & Hotel Markushof in South Tyrol again this year - the campsite and the surrounding area offer a perfect mix of relaxation, comfort and nature experiences. Location & surrounding area: The campsite is in a beautiful and quiet location, close to the town center of Ora - an ideal starting point for bike tours, hikes or day trips, e.g. to Lake Kaltern, the Trudner Horn Nature Park area or to Bolzano. Pitches & sanitary facilities: The pitches are spacious, well-maintained and have great trees and plants throughout the site. Particularly noteworthy: the modern, super clean sanitary facilities - hot water, hairdryer, washing machine, everything in top condition. A real feel-good factor! Recreation & infrastructure: The pool is a real highlight - perfect for cooling off after a hike. Wi-Fi works reliably throughout the entire property. Everything you need for a successful vacation is available directly in the village. Bakery just across the road. Various stores, bars and restaurants around the village square, two well-stocked supermarkets also within walking distance in the village. Sustainability & tranquillity: We found the concept particularly pleasant: Adults Only, very quiet, family-run and sustainable - lovingly maintained and run with passion. There is even a free South Tyrol Guest Pass - ideal for using the bus, train and various cable cars free of charge. Service & friendliness: The entire host family and everyone who looks after the campsite are extremely helpful, warm and professional. You immediately feel welcome!NegativNONEExcellent stay - peace, comfort and pure South Tyrol! If you are looking for a quiet, high-quality camping vacation with lots of comfort and South Tyrolean charm, this is the place for you. We will definitely be back - a real gem among campsites!Automatisk oversat.
- Albrecht J. F. Z.maj 2025PositiveOrder, tranquillity, cleanliness, varied vegetation, site size, friendliness of the family running the site, age-appropriate structure, dog-free.NegativWhen very large motorhomes occupy a pitch and have to park diagonally on it. This restricts the light, sun and view for the neighboring campers. It would be desirable if these long motorhomes were parked on the designated pitches.Vacation at the Markushof in AuerThe campsite is very manageable in size and is very well run by the family who run it. They take care of every little problem if necessary, make sure that the large pool is always clean and the green areas here are excellent.
If you stay here for a longer period of time, you quickly get to know other... campers, most of whom are also very friendly and like to make contact.
The pitch is more suited to us seniors, as it fully meets our needs for peace, security and safety.
We like to come back again and again.Automatisk oversat. - Clemens J.maj 2025PositiveYou were in the middle of the village.NegativYou couldn't choose a placeVacationThe pitches were large enough and equipped with water, waste water and electricity. - Markus S.juli 2024PositiveThe peace and quiet, as only from 50 years, no dogs. The friendliness and helpfulnessNegativActually everything was ok, in my opinion.Markushof Camping AuerSince this campsite is only from 50 years, it is ideal for rest.
Dogs are also not allowed, which is great.
The pitches for caravans are large and everything is available on the plot, electricity, sewage, satellite connection, water.Automatisk oversat. - Marco S.juli 2024PositiveAbsolute peace and quiet (CHILDLESS!!)NegativThere are NONE for us!The best time of the yearFor us two the most beautiful days of the year and not only because it is our camping vacation!
This place not only impresses with its tranquility (childless!!!) but is simply the first choice in everything that is important to us!
Super friendly and friendly owners, great food in their own restaurant,... great well-kept grounds with beautiful pitches and the whole thing in a very great environment.
What can we say, we are already looking forward to our next vacation at Camping Markushof !!!
Many, many thanks to Paola and everyone else for the great time with you !!!

- Bernhard R.juli 2024PositiveFacilities super quiet place no wishes unfulfilledNegativNo defectsSuper campsiteThe campsite is located in the middle of the village in a green area enriched by many flowering shrubs. A real natural idyll with a short ringing of bells and small animals in the neighborhood. Very quiet and relaxing. The daily rate is on an Italian level. We were completely satisfied and would love to come back.Automatisk oversat.
- Cornelia L.juli 2024Positive- large pitches - Electricity & water on site - spacious, clean sanitary facilities - beautifully situated - quietNegativnoneA very relaxing vacationWe stayed at the campsite for 10 days. The site is beautifully situated with large pitches. The sanitary area is clean and spacious. A nice gimmick are the "pool herbs" that you can help yourself to.
We would love to come back and thank you for a wonderful timeAutomatisk oversat. - Yvonne S.juli 2024PositiveCleanliness, good city location, equipment/design of the pitches, pool, no childrenNegativNoise in the morning Restaurant closedAdult camping in South TyrolThe site offers idyllic pitches that provide the feeling of a Mediterranean vacation and at the same time allow contact with fellow campers (if required). The ambience is very appealing, the sanitary facilities are comfortably equipped and very clean. Laundry washing, drying and ironing are easily possible... for an extra charge. The pool is sufficient for a quick dip, but takes some getting used to for a morning swim (but possible). There are numerous sun loungers around the pool for sunbathing. Unfortunately, the very inviting restaurant area adjacent to the pool area is not open. However, just 20 m away is the market square and the inviting Bistro Rosenkeller. Numerous other restaurants and shops are just a few minutes' walk away.
In the morning you are woken up very early by numerous roosters in the immediate vicinity (you have to like it or use earplugs). However, the deafening noise caused by an engine on the neighboring property from 06.00 in the morning was absolutely unbearable. As we were traveling with a vehicle with a pop-up roof, this was also over the wall separating the two properties. This gave us a view of the great neighboring garden, but from 06.00 a.m. there was no peace and quiet. Sleep was out of the question - no Oropax because I had to listen to the alarm clock. All in all, a recommendable place, even if we are unlikely to return.Automatisk oversat. - Bernd H.juni 2024PositiveWe particularly liked the fact that dogs and children are not allowed on this site. This makes it relatively quiet.NegativOn one or two days there was no toilet paper in the WC. (weekend) 9Camping stay AuerThe campsite is centrally located in the town. The center can be reached quickly. The bus stop and supermarket are within walking distance. Overall, the campsite can be recommended.Automatisk oversat.
