The fact that the internet left something to be desired was a little annoying at first, but it actually helped us unwind.As a former dog owner, I was impressed that “poop bags” were available in so many places... around the campground and that people actually used them. After 10:00 p.m., it was truly quiet, so we were able to get a restful night’s sleep. The laundry facilities are modern and extremely well-maintained; if you ever had a minor issue, the staff immediately tried to find a solution.

No grass, just sandy forest floor on “basic” campsites Very uneven ground, sometimes very sloped—wheel chocks are absolutely necessary!A very good campground with a few minor drawbacksOstseecamp Seeblick is a very beautiful campground located directly on the Baltic Sea, with a very small area for permanent campers. Most of the campers are vacationers, divided into two sections (Luxury/Comfort in the front section and Standard/Comfort in the back section). The front section is mostly... grass with some concrete slabs, while the rear section consists solely of sandy forest soil as the ground for the campsites. Some of the sites are very, very uneven, so leveling blocks are a must!
We really liked the nearly exemplary cleanliness of the restroom facilities—the final cleaning even takes place at midnight. That’s truly unique. The small shop at the license plate-controlled automatic entrance offers the essentials and fresh bread rolls on a self-service basis. The Ankerbar isn’t exactly cheap and serves snack-bar quality food. The Italian restaurant is expensive and of average quality.
There are clear downsides due to the ever-increasing number of dog owners who constantly walk their four-legged friends across the campground. At trail forks and certain spots, the smell is terrible, and not everyone picks up after their dogs. The campground is completely overrun by dog owners who quickly and generously “fence off” their campsites. The no-walking-dogs rule needs to be better enforced here.
Unfortunately, there are also too many new and flashy campers at the campground who are only interested in partying and not in relaxation.
It’s also worth mentioning that the digital check-in, check-out, and billing system works flawlessly.
For us, there were too many dogs on the campground, and despite it being a very nice campground, we wouldn’t visit this one again.
