"Good place - bad staff - But what we didn't like about both (2024&2025) stays (and why we won't come back) is the way we were treated during the billing process. We were new to camping and traveling with a roof tent on a Tesla. On our first visit last year, we were told that electricity was a flat rate of €4 per night. For me, that meant I could plug in the car and, as I had a fridge inside, simply draw the 3kw. Then my battery is a bit fuller than when I arrived, but at least my fridge and the like don't drain my battery unnecessarily. (There are hardly any charging options in the town). When we checked out the next day, we were told that the €4 flat rate was for 5kwh (which is the opposite of a flat rate). Of course we had now drawn about 45kwh and instead of solving the miscommunication in a friendly way we had to pay 80cents! per KWh. (That's 400% more than at home and 200% more than at already expensive fast chargers). What a cheek! Now we were there again, because we really like the place. Booked from 03.08.25 - 07.08.25 and checked out on 05.08.25 due to the bad weather and drove on. On arrival we were told that electricity would be charged according to consumption as we were there for 4 days. On the final bill we paid the electricity flat rate of 4€/day but only used 2kwh - aka 4€ per KWh. They also made us pay the tourist tax and the like for the full four days, even though we were no longer there. The charging cards for the showers have 10€ credit, we used 2€ each. We were charged €20... Not to mention that she didn't even ask me if everything was ok or why we were leaving early. Not a single word was said during the billing. This campsite is all about earning as much as possible and shits on satisfied customers. Unfortunately, the checkout makes a big difference to how the whole experience is rated. And we were taken for a ride twice.

"Clean with good location - The facilities and cleanliness are very good. The parking space is optimally paved with grid stones and a small paved area. The location is very good for exploring the town and surrounding area. Shopping facilities and bread roll service directly in front of the pitch. Showers and toilets always clean. The number of showers is a little too small.

"Great place - we will be back - We had originally booked a pitch in DK, but there was only rain and no prospect of a change in the weather. So we booked in Olsdorf from one day to the next. And everything worked really well - thank you for that.

"NO recommendation...for this terrible place. - NO recommendation...for this terrible place. Good: The shopping facilities nearby, the proximity to St. Peter Ording. Bad: The front toilets are far too narrow...life-threatening! Doors open inwards, if someone collapses, you need heavy equipment. The license needs to be checked. We doubt the accuracy of the electricity bill! The values have been invoiced without any possibility of checking. There was no information about the fact that billing is carried out via an invisible meter unit. The pitches are in a state of disrepair (unkempt mud pits) Only three showers for the ladies and the rooms were cold. Behind our pitch was/is a mobile home for 260 chickens...it often stank miserably. Advertising with 5 stars is ridiculous! PiNCAMP/ADAC classifies the place with 3.4 stars...and that is already stunted. We were from 27Mar - 01Apr24 on this terrible place.
